1. Improve the export of indian steel through free trade agreements
2. To apply a high tariff for imported steel. This leads to reduce the demand for imported steel.
3. Not impose over anti dumping duty on raw materials which are very important to steel production. It is directly increase the cost of steel production.
4. Develop a new technology to replace the unhygienic materials (like plastic) to steel.

First focus needs to done on reducing the cost of steel manufacturing in India itself so that demand of Chinese steel can be reduced
Second, need to think to start manufacturing of Containers in which we have complete dependency on China. But most important part is to see how cost part can be optimized. Third, it can be think to replace all Paverblock roads into R.C.C. Roads, this will not only give the durability of Roads but also increase the demand of Steel..

(1)Let us make more Flyovers in cities and on highway junction - this move will increase the demand of Steel and save petrol and diesel.
(2) Let us make more sky scrapers - this move will increase the demand of Steel and will give economical residential option.

Also Indian shipyards including Navy are importing Ukraine steel during ship building, encourage Indian steel plants to go for manufacturing special alloy steels to be used in Indian ship building, and also encourage steel plants to export those materials.

First ban Chinese products Sir,nowadays prefabricated materials from China are been dumped nowadays, either ban them or impose heavy duties on them. Also encourage Indian shipping companies to get done their maintenance jobs in Indian yards rather than in foreign yards.Decrease production costs of steel by decreasing power costs and other duties.Give tax sops to companies using desi steel or impose double duties to those who use foreign steel.

In addition to above mentioned other suggestions:
1) Reduce price of steel production by moving factories near coal and Iron ore mines and cheaper transportation ways.
2) Bring policy to favor Indian manufacturing in fields of education, utensils, telecom, medical devices, airports, steel furnitures ( replace wood by steel- save trees)- for domestic and export purposes.
3) Develop technologies where we use iron to create other high grade alloys than steel.

Other than boosting the domestic per capita consumption, increase in steel export has to be focused. For this the cost of production of steel has to come down by optimising processes and reduction in raw material prices.Along with this taxes also have to be rationalised

Use of aluminum utensils is to be discouraged as it is detrimental to health. Instead, use of stainless steel utensils (including pressure cookers) may be promoted. Because of water-scarcity, use of overhead tanks for water storage is common in India. These tanks are generally made of plastic and are not very hygienic. We may gradually shift over to tanks made of steel or stainless steel. This would be feasible only if the tanks are cost-effective.
