Notwithstanding the current challenges, Indian steel industry has significant potential for growth The per capita steel consumption in India at 61 kg is much lower than the global ...
Steel Companies must have organise Fair/Mela to Show their products. Precaste Module or Casting can be done for Building House /Road/infra . Educational Students must be asked to design Steel/Metals precasting modules for problem faced by ind/comman man
In respect to increasing steel demand, I want to suggest that, The necessities of people and consumption of various metal at grass root level should be analysed, specially, wooden, copper, brass ,silver or golden etc. items should be analysed and research that, whether, use of iron and steel by replacing other metal is cost effective without compromising the quality of items, the items which can be comfortable and suitable in steel metal it should be replaced,so,the demand will increase, best wishes
The points below can increase demand for steel:
1.Form a separate committee for this.
2.promote Indian steel rather than importing from China especially.
3.To give subsidies for Indian steel manufacturers and motivate and help them.
4.Educate people about steel and it's significance throughout India exclusively in rural areas.
5.Campaign about steel's importance all over our country specifically in key states manufacturing more heavy steels.
Dear Sir/Mam,
We should promote manufacturing of small household item (from kitchen to elctricity fittings) to be made up of steel and should be made by small units. it may give sustained consumption of india made steel. Also real state and infrastucture like dams, highways, dockyards, rail coaches, airports, water supply system, gas supply systems, building security systems etc. should also be made up of steal. But we should not demote use of iron but industry should smoothly shift.
Dear Sir,
below points may bring change in demand of steel.
1. Increase import duty on steel finish good specifically those items which can be easily manufactured in India like toys, cycles, health exercising equipment's, Medical equipments,Utility items etc.
2. Implementation of building standards in all approved housing colonies or industrial sectors. although Industries are already complying up to some extent but still chances are there for improvements.
Following can done to increase steel demand -
1) All public transport vehicles (buses, trains, autos etc) should be made of steel. Private vehicles & cycles mfg. should be encouraged to use steel.
2) All nuts & bolts mfg. also be encouraged to made by steel and not iron.
3) Lifts, safety doors, window girls etc in old buld should be encouraged to be made of steel.
To increase demand price should be decreased
First i would like to say thank you for this article. As a staff of construction company http://www.thomasdesignz.com/ i usually use the steel for my works. It is more comfortable for my works. But in India the demand of steel is slightly gone down.
Sets ir,
The most useful ways of increasing consumption of steel is to link rivers and rivulets with steel big dia pipes. the probable benefits of this will be:-
1. saving of times in implementation of govt scheme to join rivers,
2. savings of fertile land ,
3.saving of water from seepage etc,
4.to provide road for light vehicle movement thus faster communication,
5.measurable work done in stipulated time ,
6. helps in faster industrialisation specifically of cement industry etc.
Should use aluminium in place of steel
