The National Commission for Women, a Statutory Body set up in January 1992 under the National Commission for Women Act, 1990 has the mandate to safeguard the constitutional and statutory rights of women. The Commission initiates program which aids empowerment and holistic development of women so that they are capable to gain access to opportunities and make their own decisions.

International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women was launched in 2000 by the U.N General Assembly. It is observed annually on November 25th. International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women seeks to raise awareness about violence against women. This day aims to eliminate violence by removing stigma and encouraging women to speak out against abusers. This day defines violence against women as any act of gender-based violence that results in or is likely to result in, physical, sexual, or psychological harm to women. The goal of this day is to achieve equality, development, and peace. It aims toward the fulfillment of women's and girls’ human rights.

In pursuance of its mandate and in order to achieve the goal of ‘Elimination of Violence against Women', the Commission invites inputs, suggestions, and feedback from all stakeholders through MyGov Portal, with a focus on Breaking the Silence against Gender Violence. The aim of the programme is to promote equality, development, and peace among the masses.

The last date to receive suggestions/input is 24th December 2021.

we should add many chapters in primary education curriculum to teach boys from young age about women's equality and to show respect and care for women, (mothers, sisters, grandmother's.)

It should be started from basic school education that is our primary school. Start from their uniform as it is the first impression on anyone. There should be common uniform for boys and girls. Separate curriculum for sex education is also required. This is what i have felt as most imp throughout my career as teacher. Teachers should be given equal opportunity without considering gender biases..it was seen during pandemic that male staff was appointed at more critical areas than female staff. School should have a separate room for children of teachers and a caretaker so that they can work freely without bothering of their child as this thing also come as barrier in their equal chances. All schools should be turned into co-ed. All the events, opportunities and talent hunt programme should include equal numbers of boy and girls participation...there are many things that can be done...and ut is not at all necessary to imitate foreign country in terms of code of conduct to follow in school

Respected prime minister I just want that girls should not have to go to her husband's home after marriage because their mother always remind them when they became mature that you have to go somebody else home you should know how to make food otherwise they will beat you and the mother of those girls always frighten them that they will marry them because their daughter are not listening to do their household work and when these girls ask why don't you tell your son to do that so they say that so what he is a boy his wife or I will make food for him

Respected PM JI, Woman plays a multi key role in 🏡 Home. For ex; If a Man wins that man sayys in public behind this winning my wife/mother.Like Wife/ Mother/Aunt/Sister they play heavy role in a Homes.Basically something is missing in society in respecting/Harassing/Insulting woman. I hope here woman's must educate their children to respect ✊ women in our society lots of woman doing this it must be widely spread.schools/colleges they have to educate each student 👨‍🎓 if possible they have to train by special counselor about our culture in Respect ✊.Ana as usual special she teams & she mobile apps to safe them from irresponsible people in this society. Make multiple posters & adds that Government is their to them to safe guard.Instant action by using Digital systems/offline system. Conduct classes to woman to strengthen their Mind & to be brave in any situation they have to be well trained. (If a lady wants to be brave/educate they have to cultivate reading Swami Vivekananda books too)

Just make available a toll free number that any women in need can dial and the help arrives without that number being stored in dialed list, so that the culprit doesn't find it and be more cruel. The number must be used to trace the address or location that's it. Women who are facing violence are more vulnerable. They do not find enough courage because of the aftereffects that makes them villan by giving proof that they informed someone.

1. We still run on the colonial court police systems, where the already existing women safety, protection and empowerment laws are misused maximum to frame ordinary people.
2. However when a real crime happens, this system is completely absent.
3. Justice means absence of crime. It requires education, knowledge, etc.
4. Laws will be more prone to misuse than use.
5. Have courts, police, etc as friend of Indian Society irrespective of gender, race, etc. Instead of running on colonial systems. Some of the problems will be resolved
