Kalyan railway station is one of the busiest station in terms of local trains & long distance trains, however the station lacks in handling large no. of crowds, auto rickshaws have hijacked the entire road, please see if Kalyan may adopt the model like thane station and it may developed as world class station with better facilities (cleanliness/toilets/restrooms/wider bridges) east west connectivity. etc

I am part of Kalyan E for the past 8 years, I reside in Anmol Garden Cmplx, the last 8 years I have seen no development in infrastructure or any recreational/sports complex in my vicinity.The roads are pathetic(village kutcha roads are good),only buildings are added up, with out planning & proper facilities(Light/water/sewage),storm water drainage and many more, the sorrow list is exhaustive. We boast of 2 ladies bar but lack basic amenities to LIVE. SMART CITY??? hope someone's listening???

 Water Transport: Apart from Road & Rail, tap the natural geographical advantage of Creek and provide alternate means of transport through water like hovercraft to connect to Thane/Mumbai.
 Financial Hub: Create financial hub similar to BKC so that people do not travel to work outside the city and thereby save time, money and energy
 Have IT/ technology play the role of a catalyst in all of the above projects.

Proposed Scenario:
 Address all current issues given above.
 Solar Energy: Harness natural geographical advantage of Creek through setup of solar panels
 Wind Energy: Harness natural geographical advantage of Creek through setup of wind mills
 Recreation: Harness natural geographical advantage of Creek through setup of restaurants, water sports etc. This could boost travel and add revenue to the corporation

 Education: World class school and College not available
 Other: Hawker menace, veg & fruit vendors everywhere
 Pollution: Hazardous chemical pollution in MIDC area
 Law & Order: Incidence of robbery, rapes on the rise
 Recreation: No major malls in Dombivli for shopping
 Hospitality: No decent/star rated Hotels in Dombivli for accommodating guests

 Connectivity: Connectivity to Mumbai is majorly through local trains, lack of bridges, no alternate roads to Mumbai, Thane, Nashik, Pune, Panvel and internally between Kalyan and Dombivli and nearby cities of Ambernath-Badlapur
 Electricity: Overhead wires/ poles
 Water Supply: Insufficient water supply to many parts
 Hospital: Lack of Multi-speciality Hospital, people still have to get admitted to hospitals in thane or Mumbai if critical illness


Sir More KDMT Buses should operate and strict Time Table for every route like VASHI BUS ,CBD BELAPUR,MALANG GAD ROUTE NO 45,PANVEL ROUTE NO 20,Ubarde,Ring Route and all route,Auto Rickshaw are Charing very high.Cleanliness is needed.As garbage are scatter on the Road.Road must be made of good Quality.Unable to understand after passing so many years there is no progress in road and transportation in KALYAN.There are no good Government Hospital and good Goverment Prima school in Kalyan.

Current Scenario:
The city is grappled with various basic issues which need to be addressed before we can think of making it a SMART city.
 Housing: Many Illegal Building, Slums in various parts
 Roads: Potholes, narrow roads, lack of proper footpaths, single East West bridge
 Sewage: Drainage issue, water logging during monsoon
 Transport: Lack of good public transport, unregulated auto fares, excess auto plying, low frequency of buses


Sir I am living at Anmol Garden Haji Malang Road Kalyan East Thane Maharashtra 421306 .Condition of road is very bad.Pathetic condition.Sir kindly include 27 villages in Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation.Atleast Pisawali .As this village is on Border line of the Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation.Alot of enchroachment is going on.Garbage are scattered on the Road.Resident are facing alot of issue.Sir Road should be concretized.And bus service should be improved and on time .

2. Meters in Auto Rickshaws are not working. 3. Due to share Rickshaw concept for long distance people who stays nearby cannot get any Auto in the peak period. Senior Citizens Patients Pregnant lady need to walk long to get an Auto in the evening or during peak demand period. Request you to delegate some responsible officer to solve this problem. Dombivlikars will be very thankful if this problem gets effective solution.
