3) Metro/Local Railways : Most of the citizens of KDMC are employed in Mumbai and across central, western, labour suburbs. Due to the inefficient road connectivity local are the defacto mode of travel for everyone. Overcrowding of trains during peak hours results in casualties. I propose to government to have plan to implement Metro lines and improve the local train frequency during the peak period. More trains could also start from Dombivli during the peak hours.

2) Parking lots : Most of the residential apartment were built considering Middle Class and working class people. But now with improved life style, and increased purchasing power of people more vehicles are bought. However since parking place were not planned, most of the fours wheelers are parked on Road. I propose that we should have dedicated paid parking slots for citizens. It can be a multi level parking lot for handling the growing demands.

If basic things like electricity, water, control on food item hike prices are taken care then rest all will be value added services for any person living in the city... As suggestions are invited for smart city assumption is that above things are taken care... Above all I would like to see things in my city are :transportation includes parallel road with rail road to Thane, bridge from dombivli west to Thane, East West bridge, garbage maintainance, garden in particularly for wes

Following are some point that i think are required for the city to move towards being SMART.

1) Roads Infrastructure - All arterial roads in the city are not capable to handle the existing traffic and leading congestion almost everyday. Due to inability of widening of the road I suggest we should either consider for fly overs or one ways traffic routes. The quality of the road need to improve with quick repair turn arounds.

There should be a parallel road from kalyan to thane.
In peak hours there so much rush in local train due to that daily people are dieing.the road which are there from via bhiwandi and navi mumbai to reach thane its taking around 1 to 1.5 hours.there is no other way to reach thane.most of the people are working beyond thane only.

Kalyan is a beautiful place but it lacks basic necessities. Fr eg: water. There is scarcity of water. Roads are in poor condition...u can find potholes everywhere...n it lacks cleanliness. So please make provisions for water, better roads n cleaning the city.

१. सर्व वाहतूक सेवांचे अद्ययावत वेळापत्रक प्रवाशांना मोबाईल फोनवर उपलब्ध करून द्यावे.

२. सर्व बसेसचे लाईव्ह स्टेटस GPS च्या माध्यमातून मोबाईल फोनवर उपलब्ध करावे. यामुळे बस थांब्यांवर तात्कळत उभ्या असणाऱ्या प्रवाशांना त्यांना अपेक्षित असणारी बस कुठपर्यंत पोहोचली आहे किंवा नक्की किती दूर आहे ह्याचा अंदाज करता येईल.

३. मोबाईल तिकिटांद्वारे सुट्ट्या पैशांचा प्रश्न सोडवावा.

Public transport can be made efficient by adopting following advance measures:
1. Updated time table of public transport services should be available on smart phones.
2. Live status of all buses should be available on smart phone through GPS. This will help people waiting on bus stops to know where their expected bus is or how far it is.
3. Implement Mobile ticketing and solve the problems of handling change amount.
