With respect to land and property purchase records allow all members of the public see what such land and property has been sold for. This will allow for more accurate comparisons over time and gradually increase the under registration of land and property, so prevalent in India. Over time this will increase the tax revenues and allow a review of the stamp duty rates

Large scale digisation can eradicate corruption totally. ..... We have already have a adhaar from which you can link to land records. ...... There are lot real estate criminal activities happening. .... to avoid this use the finger print of citizens and link it with the real estate he is owning. .... at the same time capital gain tax will also be properly paid. ....aadhar card should be made mandatory and finger print checking devices should be installed in all govt offices

Digitalizing is good but govt should make sure that these data are nor not used for comercial purposes like marketing, and snooping by other countries agencies. Modi's digital India should not be turned into a platform for big companies to mine data in India.

With Digitization not only the public can have access to clear and accurate information, It will help in saving money wasted on a records management system that is decades old. When records are well-managed, agencies can use them to assess these and can use them for our betterment. I totally agree with the views of Radhika Niranjan and Dilip Salunke.

Dear Sir, It is a very important step and I am glad our government is serious and working in this direction. We agree that our records management is based on an outdated approach involving paper and filing cabinets, and needs to be modernized.
