What kind of policy is required to promote entrepreneurship education in India that infuses innovation and entrepreneurial culture in youth and build ecosystem for entrepreneurship ...
Universities should take lead conceptualizing and commercializing new products focused for addressing indigenous requirements.
I think like corporations and companies are given formal recognition, Government should recognize by act platforms where enthusiastic people with complimentary skills can come together, discuss and implement their dream in a formally recognized and supportive environment.
It is imperative that the officialdom with charge for efficiently running the Government schools, and the managing committees bearing responsibility for managing the affairs of the schools in private hands, make available to the students the facility of COUNCELLING REGARDING WHICH FIELD WOULD SUIT THEM THE BEST. IT WOULD BDNEFIT THE STUDENTS IN TWO WAYS -- ONE, THEY WOULD GET ENGAGED IN REGULAR STUDIES AS ALSO CAREER COURSE, AND, TWO, THEY WOULD DEFINITELY GET SPARK TO SPARKLE FUTURE.
Here also, "CATCH THEM YOUNG" shall be an inspiring force for those aspiring youth who nurture entrepreneuring ideas and have bent for innovations. Thus, process of imparting entrepreneurship education should commence as early as a youth gets awakened about what field he would prefer as his career. This could even commence from the school level. THE SCHOOLS, RUN BY THE GOVERNMENT, AS ALSO THOSE MANAGED BY PTIVATE INDIVIDUALS, MUST HAVE REQUSITE PARAPHERNALIA TO PREPARE STUDENTS FOR FUTURE.
Making information available in easy, readily available and right of entrepreneur will empower him/her to become street smart and take well informed decision for their entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurship has several factors and course should have street or floor plan considering several aspects of life reality. You may taught a person to farm but how to sell ur produce effectively is neglected or thought to be inborn. Entrepreneur face challenges in common sense skills rather then technical ones. Considering our mind set "jugad.com" is thought to be more effective than Google. This is because of lack of layman term policies and proper exposure of these to right audience.
We need to have an incubator centres in every state with sub branches into major cities of the state further divided into implementation/rural branches in villages where employment generation n rural development will go hand in hand with entrepreneurship. These incubator centres will have team of professors, entrepreneurs,VCs,industrialist etc n will get budgetary allocations along with annual achievement targets. Every school(above certain class),college, etc will b required to make a visit.
Entrepreneurship shouldn't be taught in classrooms, it should be provided as experience during their school and college days. Like it is happening in 'B' schools.
Entrepreneurship aspiration shall be instilled with every citizens provided government assure citizens in following things
1) Corruption free government services
2) Transparent policies and framework (rules & regulations)
3) Ensuring financial assistance through government owned banks and finance institution. (As most of them are first generation entrepreneurs)
4) Reform in labor laws and policies
5) Control of political interference

It is necessary to have an entrepreneurship education, but the basic education in India has too be changed, it should be more practical, also we have to find the correct talent at young age and groom them, so that each section/Category will find a correct persons for there respected Jobs. Today people are thinking to get into self employment but the procedures in the local and central government has to be simplified and corruption has to be removed then it will be easier.
