Government of India has put in place a liberal policy for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) under which FDI up to 100% is permitted through the automatic route in most of the sectors/ activities but some sectors require prior Government approval for infusing FDI with sector specific conditions. In the last one year Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP) embarked upon a number of initiatives with the objective of improving ease of doing business and simplifying the investment process. Further, in this regard, the DIPP has now initiated an exercise for preparation of identifying applicability of the FDI Policy para as per each identified activity provided in National Industrial Classification Code 2008 to provide greater clarity and simplicity to foreign investors. Under this exercise codification had been started off with the NIC-2008 code book indicating against each entry as to whether FDI is allowed therein, and if so, it is on Automatic or Approval route along with Para no. of FDI policy.

A draft list prepared in this regard by DIPP is as under. The comments and suggestions from the stakeholders/ investors are welcome for the improvement, if any, latest by 30th November, 2015.

Government is doing right by bringing FDI into defense sector. As we know that many things related to defense, we need to purchase from other country. As government is supposed manufacture next generation weapons with the help of FDI, in our country, they also need to make sure that in coming years #DRDO should become that much capable compete with them. #FDIPolicy, #NICCode, #DepartmentofIndustrialPolicyandPromotion, #DIPP, #MyGov

SHRI MODI SAAB,FIRST WE SHOULD REDUCE OUR POPULATION LEVEL To less than 1.2 Billion by IMMEDIATELY INTRODUCING 1-CHILD POLICY like in CHINA, OUR PREVIOUS GENERATIONS & POOR people have Mindlessly GAVE BIRTH TO PLENTY of BLOODY USELESS PEOPLE in our COUNTRY than GOOD People. This means all our development efforts are going VAIN without any USE of Foreign INVESTMENTS.VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM: THERE is NICE IDEA, ARREST whoever Wants SECOND CHILD.I MEAN JUST ONE MAN like CV RAMAN-NOBLE laureate is FINE.

We should issue Non-Voting share to the foreign companies in case of Defense , media etc. so control can be remain in hands of Indians.Other sector like Aviation , Environment ,textile machinery, food processing machinery or other machinery manufacturing should be invited freely. We are lacking in Electronic hardware manufacturing like transistor,Circuit , PCB etc. such industry should be motivated for FDI.

One more recent example in Highway construction improper design is washing away of National Highway at few places in Nellore district AP, in past 4 Days heavy rains. If you observe British built railway lines, there will be many bridges, culverts etc canbe seen in those sections to let out flood waters. Our Road designers ignored this risk of flood waters and built the highways. At least now in reparing them they should take care to build necessary culverts etc.

Sir We are copying European systems in many things. We need indianized solutions. National Highways are great example. Yearly 79000 people dying on our roads due to un-scientific designs. We need a 6 feet service road beside all National Highway for slow moving Tractors,Bullock carts etc. Culverts parapet walls need to be widened.Since A Volvo bus accident happened in 2013 at Palem Ap,as it hit culvert wall, entire 43 passengers burnt alive.so own solutions needed in our Road designs.

IITs and Engineering colleges should be made partners in Technology development,Transfer, research in FDI investment ventures. Also for local problems also IITs need to assigned tasks. For example local made Three wheeler Autos, JNNURM city buses in Hyderabad emit very dark smoke on Roads, IITs or Engg colleges can find solutions for such Automotive emissions.
