Dear Citizens of Rajkot, ...
Traffic jams across major nodes in the city has paralysed the city and impacts the economic output of the city as well. Two simple actions to reduce this is proper route planning and proper enforcement of traffic rules
Underground cabling should be implemented
Strict actions against encroachments while providing a planned approach to relocation of existing slums should go hand in hand
Make Rajkot a walkable city by providing covered pedestrian infrastructure, pedestrian friendly junctions and foot over bridges
water conservation should become priority of the city. rain harvesting, use of recycled water should be encouraged and included in the byelaws
Traffic and vehicular pollution is high in the city. You see the effects of these on the health of normal citizens. Promote public transport and mass transit and provide last mile connectivity.
its a good thinking and its a good for gujarat my point of view in a rajkot city most requirment provide a mass storage parking in rajkot and heigher of good designer in road safety and note a safety of all purpose.
Traffic sense and discipline is severely lacking in the city. The Traffic police has to continuously engage with the ciizens to create awareness and building a sense of ownership for the citizens. The approach of being forceful or exacting bribe should be done away with
The bigger the city grows the greater the solid waste challenge. To meet the future needs proper scientific treatment and disposal of waste should be initiated right away
Citizen engagement strategy for RMC. A clear communication and citizen engagement plan should be prepared and executed . This should be channeled so as to include the senior citizens as well as the tech savvy new generation students and youth
