Dear Citizens of Rajkot, ...
hospital zone hould be created in the city which should be made noise free
Traffic sense is lacking in the city. No proper programmes to educate citizens as well as make them responsible drivers.
Water availability 24/7 should be attempted in the city. This should be supported by proper metering of network to monitor and reduce wastage as well as through reuse of waste water for industrial use
Quality educational and healthcare facilities at affordable rates is not available in the city. With the history of enterprising nature of the Rajkot citizens, the provision of quality education will boost the city and has the potential to turn Rajkot into an economic engine for the State
Water shortage is a key concern especially since it is in the arid saurashtra belt. Through proper planning and citizen support, Rajkot can become a model for water management in India as well as across the globe
Proper disclosures of financial and service level position of RMC through an open data portal. where continuous citizen engagement can also be undertaken
Proper interenet connectivity should be provided through wifi technology and proper road network should be develop to avoid traffic problem
Traffic congestion and vehicular pollution has to be reduced in a phased manner
The city has a long way to go with respect to Egovernance.. This is due to a combination of factors including administrative challenges as well as the citizen awareness. A composite plan to address both factors has to be undertaken while embarking on a egovernance makeover
traffic signals should be synchronized and regulated at the junctions
