With the GST coming into effect from 1st July, 2017, the biggest indirect tax reform of independent India, is going to transform the way indirect tax is administered in this country, impacting not just businesses but also the common man. GST is a tax on consumption of goods and services, which is levied at all stages right from manufacturing up to final consumption, with credit of taxes paid at previous stages available as setoff. It is going to remove the tax-on-tax effect through separate Central and State tax laws. In a nutshell, under GST, only value addition will be taxed , hence, reducing the burden of tax to be borne by the final consumer.

The most fundamental change in GST besides the consolidation of multiple taxes, is the use of a robust shared IT infrastructure in its operations. All the forms related to registrations, filing returns and other related activities can now be done through the GSTN Portal.

GST will help build an economically stronger India, with 'One Nation, One Tax, One Market.'

This is not directly on GST but about a need to issue a consequential circular under Income tax. There was no obligation to deduct tax at source (TDS) under Income tax on the service tax component of the payment. I think a similar circular circular is required for excluding GST while deducting tax at source under Income tax. This will ensure that cash flow of the payee is not affected.

The oil is re-extracted from the supplement meaning by solvent again. This oil is called SpentEarh oil. So this is SpentEarth and HSN of SpentEarth Oil. Request to know the code and tax line.

What is included in education? (1) Whether Training to bankers is a part of education as the trainer gets honorarium on session basis. (2) Teaching in the educational institute like college or University on subject basis for the complete semester on selected days and time will be treated GST exempted under education or not. If not exempted then what would be the Tax rate? (3) Selling books by author in cash in the class where he is teaching, but out side the state, will that attract GST?
