Poor science and maths education (and English) accounts for 80 per cent of total students who fail in Tenth Board Examination. The low enrolment in science stream at higher secondary level and poor-quality education is a constraint in development of scientific manpower in the country. Science and Maths education would need special attention. We need to deliberate and find workable strategies for strengthening the quality of teaching–learning processes for better outcomes; innovations and diversity of approaches in matters of curricula, pedagogies and use of technology to improve the learning levels.

concept formation is the key to learning. Have compulsory remedial classes for students who lag behind. Every school must have one teacher per subject to guide other teachers with respect to remedial teaching

Relativity was never taught to Einstein in school. Also gravitation was not a compulsory course in Newton's school. They discovered those things because they were enthusiastic in learning and finding reasons for things, they observed and then learned. Students at present are asked to learn without observing the practical side of things they are learning.Practical observations and experiments should be shown to students and they should be asked to find reasons, make theories all by themself.

WHAT IS TAUGHT BY TEACHER DOES NOT LAST FOR LONG, BUT THAT IS LEARNED BY STUDENT HIMSELF WILL LAST FOREVER!!!!
Instead of teaching derivations in class, student should be asked to derive that thing all by himself or with other students for 2-3 days and and instead of solving problems in class student should be asked to solve some problems in multiple ways on his own and to create their own problems and solve them.
This will be lot more fun and student will enjoy this and will learn efficiently

Dear Priminister, We Indians lack a code of conduct which may be a main reason for indiscipline among the India people. So please bring in a "Code of Conduct for Indian Citizens" and it will be made known to everybody and included in the school curriculum so that we can bring a phenomenal change in our society. This code of conduct can be included in our constitution itself. This is my humble suggestion.

There should be inclusion of concepts like Vedic Maths in Mainstream Mathematics subject curriculum for making it easier for students to understand Maths.

history makes person stand with full of pride, give sense of direction and ability to take risks. It brings whole sense of orientation for which mistakes not to be repeated and which things can bring success for individual, for group and for nation as whole. India has 1000s of years history.
It should be considered to be taught in non-disoriented manner as is... It is foolish to think it brings discomfort in different section of society.

The Syllabus upto XII std. should be revised totally. In XI-XII only Pysics Maths Chem and Bio should be taught in more depth and conceptual clarity. UG &PG should be for one subject only study in most comprehensive way so that scientists can be produced. Skill development should be kept different platform.

Historical way of learning
‘Education’ is the process of making someone aware of current status of knowledge and making him/her capable of its improvement process. Currently, repeatability (class after class) & lack of sequential approach to teach a particular subject ends the joy of learning, especially in science. If it is taught in the similar sequence of its development, it would be more interesting & as easy to understand. We can incorporate ancient/Vedic knowledge of science, arts as well
