The Policy on Collaborative Application development by Opening the source code of Applications intends to increase the pace of application development and rapid roll out/ implementation by adopting the principles of open-source development model. Government wants to promote reuse of existing developed applications. Successful running applications and new applications are envisaged to be developed within the public domain by opening the application source code and it is also intended to encourage innovation inside and outside Government by encouraging collaborative development to achieve better products in less time.

e-Gov application source open approach—including the use and release of application source to public—can reduce costs, reduce development time, and improve overall quality, including security through increased transparency and mass peer review.

BTech in Electrical Engg.(Anythings Possible) "BILLING" app for anything---Mobile app for all type of "BILLING." Take a photo of bill(buying any type iteam) & send in govt. website with the help of mobile app. Who helps the customers & save in paper(Trees.) etc.& some other IDEAS.

With open source code of applications, audit of data and application becomes very important for departments. The quality (features and efficiency) of application and data accuracy should be audited internally yearly and after 2-3 years by external agencies .

I am a MTech in Digital Electonics. Currently working as a VLSI engineer for an MNC in Bangalore. But my dream is to work as an Aeronautical Engineer with Indian Airforce. I had made attempts to clear its selection, but failed. I still want to pursue it but cant as I have crossed my age limit. Can the gov. relax age limit for highly qualified and technically well experienced people to join technical branches of the armed forces? They would be a vital resource in modernising the defence forces.

when we request passbook for pf account on http://members.epfoservices.in it is not providing the electronic passbook even in 10days It should not take this much days for it I have asked for it before 10 days and still waiting... Digital India should provide it with as much less time!!!!!

Following up from last 2 months for clean water in Govind Puri Gali No. 3, but have no response form Government Officials of DJB. Filed complain for 2 times but no solution till date. Complain No. 1 - 201410107854 & Complain No. 2 - 201410200113

महोदय सुझाव है कि सभी केन्‍द्रीय कर्मचारियों को आयकर विभाग के समान ही सरकार/विभाग की ओर से बी0एस0एन0एल0 की मोबाइल सिम कुछ निश्चित फ्री-यूसेज की सुविधा के साथ प्रदान करना चाहिये । जिससे सरकार/विभाग/मंत्रालय अपने स्‍टाफ से हर समय संपर्क में बना रहेगा एवं सरकारी योजनाओं आदि के प्रचार-प्रसार में भी सरकार को मदद मिलेगी । इससे कर्मचारियों के साथ संपर्क आदि में मोबाइल नम्‍बरों में एक समरूपता भी रहेगी ।
