The Policy on Collaborative Application development by Opening the source code of Applications intends to increase the pace of application development and rapid roll out/ implementation by adopting the principles of open-source development model. Government wants to promote reuse of existing developed applications. Successful running applications and new applications are envisaged to be developed within the public domain by opening the application source code and it is also intended to encourage innovation inside and outside Government by encouraging collaborative development to achieve better products in less time.

e-Gov application source open approach—including the use and release of application source to public—can reduce costs, reduce development time, and improve overall quality, including security through increased transparency and mass peer review.

increased coverage of LOK Sabha and rajya sabha sessions by private TV operators will help in increasing accountability of elected members. and smooth passage of bills which matter for the country. just being in opposition doesn't allow the opposition parties a right to scuttle all proposals right or wrong.

The number of cameras in lok sabha and rajya sabha should be increased. the coverage of TV for both the houses should be increased and people should be encouraged to see the developments of the houses. what there representatives are doing ? are they representing the issues of the areas ? raising right questions ? giving proper answers ? how many of them are napping in the houses ? rights should be given to private channels to make it lively and participating by people

Man Ki Baat #1: Please also emphasize public to like/dislike a post here because I see many people give similar suggestion again & again. They can read previous posts and like/dislike that to filter best/worst ideas. Many important ideas get loaded by heap of some craps/lesser important ideas. So improving LIKES for previous one is better than adding 2-line posts.
