The allocation of Rs 20,000 crore under the Deep Tech Fund is a commendable step toward fostering innovation; however, a more diversified approach could enhance its impact. Strengthening public-private partnerships in emerging sectors like sustainable energy, AI-driven agriculture, and rural technology hubs would ensure broader development benefits. Additionally, introducing targeted incentives for startups and research institutions could accelerate breakthroughs in critical areas such as healthcare and space exploration. A more balanced distribution of funds across sectors, including manufacturing and eco-friendly infrastructure, would drive holistic progress and position India as a global leader in cutting-edge innovation.
