A multi-lingual society recognises the importance of education in languages. While there are some interventions for appointment of language teachers and promotion of classical languages, there is no comprehensive scheme or language policy and we need to have inputs on this dimension.

PROMOTE SANSKRIT THE MOTHER OF ALL INDIAN AND MANY FOREIGN LANGUAGES, EVERYTHING GETS PROMOTED AUTOMATICALLY. FOR 67 YEARS CONGRESS PARTY DISCOURAGED EVERYTHING THAT IS RELATION TO SANATAN VAIDIC CULTURE AND FOLLOWED BIRITISH POLICY OF 'DIVIDE HINDU TO RUKE INDIA'. NOW MODI JI, DESPITE 'SABKA SAATH SABKA VOKAAS' LARGE POPULATIONS INFLUENCED BY SEPARATIST MINDED CASTE AND RELIGION BASED PARTIES WILL NOT VOTE FOR BJP IN 2019. SO TO WIN 2019 ELECTIONS YOU HAVE TO BANK UPON HINDU NATIONALIST GROUP

There must be system or website or whatever from where any student living in any part of India could learn language of any other state or community!

Sanskrit and Hindi should be mandatory with regional languages. Whatmore students should be allowed to choose one foreign language. The reasons of learnig different languages must be clear for all. Students should speak in that language in that period. Teachers must be well qualified and examined regularly for their performance.

Kids should study mother tounge for atleast 3-4 years alone. Then they can study any language, compare and contrast against their own language and ideas and philosophies. Teaching many language simultaneously from LKG make kids confused about their own language. Even Plus 2 students speak awkward these days due to too much of language mix up. They lack clarity in communication. That is a dangerous situation.

When you start study grammar first, you are already lost the ability to use the language. So when kids study ENGLISH or other language other than mother tounge, emphasis should be on SPOKEN language. Grammar should supplement. thats all.Use movie clips, other videos to make learning interesting. When you touch too much grammar, you get scared and never use language. Improving English is important even among small merchants to get into internet for sales. But spoken and some writing is enough.

Kids must start their language education in their mother tounge. Then only they build a culture. Many kids learning three languages end up having NO knowledge in any language after Plus 2. Any language other than mother tounge does not need to be detailed. They should emphasize on SPOKEN language. Movies or other visual media must be used. No need to study too much literature and grammar. Attention may be on usability of language not literature study for other languages

I strongly feel that current education system, despite alleged strides, is seriously flawed and it needs many amendments. Firstly, there should be a subject like dharam shiksha (not based on religion) which tells scientifically students the anti sexism, anti casteism, anti littering, anti drugs values. More over the teachers should be trained ones which are capable of handling students and who love their jobs. The education should be practical so that students can relate to subjects.

I think there is a need for a wiki like portal (ethos.gov.in) from government introducing and elucidating our culture and languages. It should include e-learning or as I'd like to call it e-exploration service similar to nptel/coursera or ever better to teach languages, arts(dance/instruments) sciences, philosophies etc... of India. This will ensure the propagation and preservation of Indian culture, arts, sciences and values. Even the foreigners would be interested.
