In the past three years, the Government has endeavoured to remove corruption in every form and technology presents itself as one of the most potent tools. But, technological interventions work when the interventions are simple, transparent and include a public feedback mechanism. Utilising advancements in technology, the Government is following a multi-pronged strategy to tackle the problem in an effective manner

1. Transferring benefits directly to beneficiaries
2. Making government procurements transparent
3. Digitization of service deliveries
4. Promoting Cashless Transactions
5. Jan Bhagidari
6. Open Government Data

Direct Benefit Transfer was a significant step towards plugging leakages. Amount transferred via DBT is increasing and leakages are reducing. The government has laid equal emphasis on citizens getting Aadhaar. The Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Mobile (JAM) trinity will bring complete accountability in monetary transactions and eliminate ghost beneficiaries.

Additionally, Government e-Marketplace (GeM) was launched to make government procurements simple and transparent, eliminating any scope of corruption. Faceless e-assessment for income tax payers introduced from 2018 was another important step. Tax officers now communicate with the taxpayers through the ‘E-Proceeding' facility which reduces human interface.

The fight against corruption is a long and arduous one. Various online platforms have been introduced by the government, wherein the citizens can join forces with them by sharing their feedback and views. The decision to involve the honest citizens of our country in the fight increases the strength of the force against corruption to a great extent.

In the same vein, MyGov invites citizens to share their ideas on how technology can be used to uproot corruption and suggest innovations to fight the malice in an effective manner. Ideas and suggestions can be provided in the form of a comment below or by attaching a PDF document.

As a citizen to raise my voice against corruption mainly I should feel secure that I won't be harassed in any manner if I stepped out and point my voice on corruption through cyber world. So every power is within the people who see the corruption and the power who controls IT. adoption of online service is good. Setting up some government forum for to give awareness how the IT should be utilized against corruption and the initiatives should start from rural parts as they also needs to be educated

Registration for new vehicles and other relevant work in Transport Department should be executed online and all kinds of applicable fee to be paid through online transactions. This will reduce the unnecessarily paperwork as well as delay time and additional expenses incurred due to sub agencies between customers and the department. Secondly, all the documents should be issued with digital signature and delivered through registered email. It will protect from loss as well as keeping originals.

introduce a common payment portal/ gatway where any goverment/ private institution can just register as recipient and get the payment. when a user need to make a payment to a specific institution he just need to login to the portal and choose the unique code assigned to the organization and make the desired amount as payment, which will provide a unique reference number. then consumer provide the reference number along with mobile number to the payment recipient to complete the transaction.

In all State govt departments thru tendering IT related work was outsourced to company having poor credentials hence although theratically many processes have been digitised but practically more needs to be done for eg if u appy for a electricity connection online u receive an application number but nothing much is done about it's pendency so there should be checks for timely disposal of such pendencies

I thought we may reduce the corruption just by using our phone (Now a days 50% of Indian using this phone) just make a corruption taking videos and sent it to anti corruption police team whose work is to verified and this verification is fast and established fast track court for this corruption case may reduce the corruption level . ( but the punishment regarding this is hard and fast regarding this so carefull if we get the real videos
