In the past three years, the Government has endeavoured to remove corruption in every form and technology presents itself as one of the most potent tools. But, technological interventions work when the interventions are simple, transparent and include a public feedback mechanism. Utilising advancements in technology, the Government is following a multi-pronged strategy to tackle the problem in an effective manner

1. Transferring benefits directly to beneficiaries
2. Making government procurements transparent
3. Digitization of service deliveries
4. Promoting Cashless Transactions
5. Jan Bhagidari
6. Open Government Data

Direct Benefit Transfer was a significant step towards plugging leakages. Amount transferred via DBT is increasing and leakages are reducing. The government has laid equal emphasis on citizens getting Aadhaar. The Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Mobile (JAM) trinity will bring complete accountability in monetary transactions and eliminate ghost beneficiaries.

Additionally, Government e-Marketplace (GeM) was launched to make government procurements simple and transparent, eliminating any scope of corruption. Faceless e-assessment for income tax payers introduced from 2018 was another important step. Tax officers now communicate with the taxpayers through the ‘E-Proceeding' facility which reduces human interface.

The fight against corruption is a long and arduous one. Various online platforms have been introduced by the government, wherein the citizens can join forces with them by sharing their feedback and views. The decision to involve the honest citizens of our country in the fight increases the strength of the force against corruption to a great extent.

In the same vein, MyGov invites citizens to share their ideas on how technology can be used to uproot corruption and suggest innovations to fight the malice in an effective manner. Ideas and suggestions can be provided in the form of a comment below or by attaching a PDF document.

Apart from making Aadhar Card compulsory, Government should insist on making PAN Card for each individual and should ask the people of India to pay a nominal amount of Rs 1000 or 500 for Rural people yearly against each PAN Card. This amount will be taken for development of country. Now if this gets implemented , Govt. can do wonders with just this small amount taken by the people of India. 125 crores*1000 will earn such a big revenue for the Govt. every year.

TECH CAN PUT ON PLATTERS OF SUPERIORS ON CURRUPTION UNDER THEM. CAN RAISE LEVELS IF SUPERIORS DO NOT ACT. IT CAN SOUND ALARMS TO BOSSES. IT CAN PUT GOVERNANCE TO MONITOR CORRUPTION CASES. BUT... IN A LAY DOWN ATTITUDE ALL OVER, NOTHING CAN WORK.. EXAMPLE: THROUGH RTI ACT I GOT INFO ON CONNIVANCE BETWEEN UNITECH BUILDER AND GR NOIDA AUTHORITY 2006 - 2013. WENT TO NCGRC TWO YEARS BACK AGAINST BOTH. CASE LYING DORMANT. ALSO, NO ACTION ON COMPLAINTS FOR F I R TO DM N SSP. NO RESPONSE FROM ANYWHERE.

Corruption is two way and we should fight with this like mass movement. Government should take techie step boldly to identify the root cause of corruption. Should close all way doing corruption by raising step. Every citizen liability is to broadcast the awareness of corruption through social media, drama, by one to one convincing. There should be a special class in school, college and other institutions about corruption. Lastly I want to say that first of all we should become honest.

The greatest cause for corruption is that the people who are corrupt think that they would never be caught. Or if they are caught then a part of their corrupt collection will save save them. Above all, even then if they can't elude they know that their corrupt money are safe. So, the confidence of getting off scot free need to be removed the minds of the corrupt ones. Here we need a drive like Swachha Bharat campaign to clean their minds.

If someone is accused for corruption it takes long time for the court to punish him. Instead of giving full responsibility to the court, a partial power to decide the punishment should be given o the people. Being democratic and people's own government, let the people suggest the punishment for the corrupts and accused in other cases. As the social media is grown to a strength, the chance of reaching this idea within the people would not take much time as the technology used here is simple -MEDIA
