Examination reforms that focus on problem-solving, critical thinking and reasoning skills are critical to improving quality at the secondary level. Such reforms will change the teaching–learning processes and improve learning outcomes. In recent years, CBSE has introduced wide-ranging examination reforms in schools affiliated to it, such as Class X Board Examination has been made optional, Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) has been strengthened so that the students, are assessed on an ongoing basis for their holistic development, a system of grading in place of marks has been introduced. The objectives are to look at the existing systems and suggest reforms which would help better assessment of students.

Now in days "No fail policy"is going to negstive mesage.
Student which is not capture 1st class sylybus in first attempt. He will permit for learning again that syllabus.

2.मुलांना अभ्यासाची सवय लागण्यासाटी गरजेचे आहे.

we are, even now, take written examination way to seriously than it really must be even after CCE had introduced the total development factors of a student, apart from written exams. we need little more guidance on implementing other development factors as well. so that the student must think that just appearing for exam is not enough and there is whole lot of opportunities to develop himself/herself.

सातत्यपूर्ण व सर्वंकष मूल्यमापन पध्दती योग्य आहे.मात्र नापास न करण्याच्या निर्णयामुळे मुलांमध्ये अभ्यास करण्याच्या बाबतीत गांभीर्य राहत नाही.त्यामुळे पास किंवा नापास चा निर्णय शिक्षकांवर सोपवावा.

the parents in the rural area are still judgmental about education in totality. the parents have developed a careless attitude wherein they think that their pupil is going to get promoted to the next standard any how, as per the said policy. due to this the children do not attend school regularly which has hampered the attendance to a great extend. as a result the child is not able to progress in studies

सातत्यपूर्ण व सर्वंकष मूल्यमापन पध्दती योग्य आहे.मात्र नापास न करण्याच्या निर्णयामुळे मुलांमध्ये अभ्यास करण्याच्या बाबतीत गांभीर्य राहत नाही.त्यामुळे पास किंवा नापास चा निर्णय शिक्षकांवर सोपवावा.किंवा फक्त पाचवी पर्यंत नापास करण्यात येऊ नये.त्यानंतर मात्र पास किंवा नापास चा निर्णय त्यांच्या प्रगतीवरच निर्भर असावा.परीक्षा नापास पद्दत सुरु करावी ,श्रेणी पद्दत बंद करावी.परीक्षांची संख्या कमी असावी प्राथमिक स्तरावरकृतीपात्रिका असावी
वस्तूनिष्ठ प्रश्नाचा वापर वाढवावा
