Start Date :

Competence of teachers and their motivation is crucial for improving the quality. Several initiatives are being taken for addressing teacher shortages, shortages of secondary ...
गुणवत्ता हेतु मेरा सझाव है की शिक्षकों को गैर शिक्षकीय कार्यों तथा टेबल वर्क्स से मुक्त कर दें। बार बार निरर्थक ट्रेनिंग्स न दें।
There should be a exam of teacher evwry 2 year and impart them new technology new syllabus and no ther work.those who have not passed the b.ed.should pass the degree within 5 years else let them out.
There should be a test of teachers every 2 years
Dont see the degree the teachers get.... See the way they are able to teach at least after class 8 ... In our school.. class 10 has worst physics faculty ever.....No explanation is there....Students should get an option to select their own teacher they want to be taught with
Teachers should be aware of the psychology of the students. They mingle maximum in the midst of students.Warming up is very important before starting each lesson.
Renjini(English Teacher)
One Negative aspect here-
There are many Institutions that circumvent the procedures required for BEd/BSTC qualifications. In lieu of extra money, they allow students (future teachers) to just write exams at the end of the course, which is highly detrimental to Quality of teachers & profession of teaching.
Suggestions -
1.Better use of technology
2.Audio/Visual submission of lectures be made mandatory
3.Electronic attendance be put in place
4.Timely inspections and Social Audit
The Principal is the backbone of a school or college. S/he needs to be highly INNOVATIVE, hard working and accountable. Special course to be formulated for this. Besides this the TET or CTET introduced by Mr Kapil Sibal is ABSOLUTELY USELESS. It cannot serve any purpose.
Today, good candidates do not generally opt for the TEACHING PROFESSION. For this, I suggest:-
1) Increase teachers salary. See to it that the Private Schools pay this else, take strict action. CBSE's Affiliation Department is too lenient in this regard and can be MANAGED easily by any Pvt School.
2) Only higher salary cannot guarantee better efficiency, as we can see Govt. Schools. Teachers need to be ACCOUNTABLE. For this, THE TERMINATION RULES SHOULD BE MADE SIMPLER & EASIER.
Today, we need to reduce content of the regular subjects in School and add a new subject called CREATIVE THINKING SKILLS. Accordingly, the BEd Syllaus needs to be drafted. It seems to be difficult but is VERY MUCH POSSIBLE. Creative Teaching, Creative Questioning, etc should be actively considered while framing the syllabus. This will also ensure that our pass out students are more employable.
Hi-Tech gadgets like e-board will not solve the problem. Instead of teaching WHAT TO THINK, present day teachers should rather facilitate HOW TO THINK. THINKING or IMAGINATION is one single issue, which is the antidote for todays problems. Teachers Training course, BEd needs to be revamped. We need to include such materials that will make teachers induce CREATIVITY in teaching. We need to teach or facilitate cultivation inside the classroom of Creative, Out of the Box, Lateral, Thinking Skills
