Competence of teachers and their motivation is crucial for improving the quality. Several initiatives are being taken for addressing teacher shortages, shortages of secondary ...
Education is the only way to remove corruption and poverty and the base of education is primay school we have given advance facilities to schools but we don't have skillful high qualified teachers so can never fulfil the goal of devlopment. Why youth is not intrested in teachers of specially in primary because of fix salary system ex in gujarat rs 5300 fix for five years. So no skillful person will work in such law amount. In us uk salary of primay teacher is equal to professior. Think about it.
Teachers should understand the significance of the role that they play in the society. They define the future of the nation as they have the highest influence in shaping the minds of the young.
Towards this end, the teachers should first be educated on determining self worth and living up to the standards they set for themselves. Teaching should not be just a job for a paycheck at the end of the month.
Key for them to understand is that children learn on their own. Teachers just enable.
Now day’s women Engineers having MBA degree are teaching to Nursery students and some teachers in Bihar and UP cannot even spell for day, month or numbers in English.*National Teachers selection commission should be started for all primary, high school and college teachers and professors. *All India level compulsory Exams for teachers, lecturer and professors should be conducted and interviewed by separate panel.* Selected can only join private or government school and colleges to deliver best.
to improve education teacher should free to work in class room, no any other government task or other activity given to teachers
Revamping teacher education for quality teachers - best teachers: Now a days, “One who gets salary from school or collage is teacher”. This definition needs to be dramatically challenged. Who is having higher skill in any area is teacher in that area. Life required areas as mentioned above are the skills. If kid or student having higher skills in any skill or area should be termed as teacher & entire school should learning from him. Learning from all the sources should be encouraged. Nature & mo
At first we should increase number of teachers in schools and colleges. Today one teacher handle 4 hours a day. They handle 100's of students per classes. Students and Teacher ratio is a main issue in schools and colleges. A teacher is a well qualified person but the workload of teachers decreases the quality of the teaching.
Quality Education should only be ensured if a teachers should be given responsibility of only Teaching. Teachers should not be utilized for non-teaching activites. No need to mention , noa days teachers are given more work load other than teaching and Scholl management only bother about cosmatic changes outside world not on qaulity education. Due to non teaching activites teachers are not able to give their best and this is i have seem at every place / school
4. Counseling / special needs training for common schoolgoing disabilities like dyslexia, autism, hyperactivity etc should be included in curriculum for teachers. 5. Soft skills training and stress management. 6. Sensitization to child abuse and training on reporting protocols and response as mandatory for inservice teachers. 7. Should be applicable to all public/private/minority schools without any exceptions.
1. Centralized entrance exams for teachers at primary / secondary levels which would ensure a minimum level of knowledge and skills.
2. In-service examination biannually for skill and knowledge upgradation so that teachers are aware of recent advances in field of education. Mandatory passing in this examination for continuity of service.
3. As in other fields, credit system to be devised for attending workshops related to different teaching methods needed for qualifying for inservice exams.
Teachers are the inspiration for kids. But sadly the teaching stds of few is pathetic. The things like inspiring the kids towards learning new things will be their foremost responsibility. And some margin of punishment right has to be provided to the teachers where they can make a student good.
