India Science (www.indiascience.in) is an Internet-based science Over-The-Top (OTT) TV channel. It is an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt of India , implemented and managed by Vigyan Prasar (VP), an autonomous organisation of Department of Science and Technology. This 24x7 video platform is dedicated to science and technology knowledge dissemination, with a strong commitment to spreading scientific awareness especially with Indian perspectives, ethos and cultural milieu. The initiative is supported by National Council of Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), DST.

Science and Technology are the main driving forces of the nation and fundamental to the progress and growth. But there is a distinct difference between “science” and “scientific”.

Science is all about the known facts through a systematic way which is said to be a scientific method. Scientific Temper is a quality to instil in some one to follow the scientific methods to make more science happen from various sectors of the nature. 75 Years & Govt data published by Congi good but by Modi/ABV wrong . Happens in India only ? Not 1 MSM accepted challenge of modi report card & few riots v/s Godhra ! Not one white paper on why India purposely say bring not bring metro /rail/road/expressways/digital land/property records & will India will get it ! Not 1 knew the truth of Punjab farmers getting to sell 90 % of total FCI procurement or even J&K section 370 , dalits were bonded labors ! only lies ! how will science progress

Today, it is so different that few are ready to accept knowledge accumulated by the ancients as 'science'. ... Only that knowledge which is patterned after the methods of natural sciences is regarded scientific.

Science refers to a systematic body of knowledge in any field by involving three things: verifiability, system and generality. The method of gaining this knowledge is scientific by being definite, objective, general, reliable and predictable. The pattern of science is natural science. Only that knowledge which is patterned after the methods of natural sciences is regarded scientific i.e. in the case of social sciences but in the limited sense only. Science is made not by the facts but by methods
