Innovative ideas on circular economy in E-waste

Today, electronic waste poses a significant challenge for society. With the introduction of innovative features and up-gradation, people are changing their devices by discarding the old ones, thereby contributing to the generation of electronic waste significantly.

Replacing the linear systems with circular in electrical and electronic equipment intends to maximize value at each life-cycle stage by reusing, repairing, recovering remanufacturing, regenerating products and material.

Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) observes Swachhata Pakhwada 2022 from 1st February 2022 to 15th February 2022 promoting ‘E-waste se Raksha- Swachhata hi Suraksha’. Citizens are invited to share their innovative ideas on how circular economy practices can help in sustainable and efficient E-waste Management.

The best entries from the citizens will be identified by the Ministry and will be featured on the MyGov page.

The last date to receive suggestions is 15th February 2022.

Respected authority, I want to tell you that recycling of e-waste is very necessary . usually people don't know where to dispose e-waste . there should be proper mechanism for disposal of e-waste . i have an idea , we can do one thing . waste collecting pickups cars has 2 compartments i.e green and blue colour , we could add another compartment for e-waste .. or other option should be creating some centers for collecting e-waste.

we should concentrate more on the dumping of plastics and items made by plastics because their consumption not only checks our drainage, air, water or the early but entire horizon. Days are not far when each house has to construct a separate oxygen washing chamber to remain workable. E-waste and plastics are inviting unknown diseases and enhancing the numbers of hospitals bed

Now that RLD switched side like Shivsena both Hindu outfits stabbing from behind Hindu cause, the theme in UP should include something about our history. A great ancient wealthy till 16th century for both financial and intellectual it is this kind of traitors who worked with invaders of the country for petty selfish priorities. The voters in UP should be told this in very certain terms perhaps a press meeting and presenting such a theme will be good. Looters and opportunists like congrass, SP, DMK, TMC, Shivasena and the likes are a threat to this nation. After 70 years looting they are sidelined and India is progressing fast, we are regaining the dignity and pride we lost through invaders and their collaborators. Another 10 years like today India will be on track to claim the top position in the world before the centenary of our independence. Do not let this to slip away. Any loss in UP will boomerang, India cannot afford it. This need to be communicated to every Indian citizen...

Circular economy (CE) is an industrial system, which is an alternative to highly extractive and resource- intensive linear economy principle of take-make-dispose. ... EEE waste is considered as one of the rich sources of secondary raw materials and can contribute towards resource security and environmental sustainability.
