Recognizing the universal appeal of Yoga, owing to its demonstrated benefits towards immunity building and stress relief, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) proclaimed 21st June as the International Day of Yoga (IDY) on 11th December 2014. Since 2015, this day has been observed worldwide in ever-growing numbers, to remind people across the globe about the benefits of Yoga, and to build enduring public interest in Yoga by highlighting its importance and contributions to public health.

The preparations for the 8th International Day of Yoga (IDY 2022) have already begun and the Ministry of Ayush (MoA) is looking forward to active participation from the people. As the world faced a tough time due to the pandemic of Covid-19, wherein, Yoga has emerged as the saviour for many.

Yoga is healing our minds, bodies and spirits while giving back to society. It's a way of life by following the approach to wellness, social, and environmental well-being for global development. Yoga unfolds the infinite potentials of the human mind and body and set the guidelines for how to lead a sustainable lifestyle in the modern age by creating a positive impact on the planet inevitably leading humans to make more mindful choices.

With this backdrop, the Ministry of Ayush invites all citizens to share their ideas on how “Yoga for Humanity” may be persuaded further.

Today on the occassion of the 8th IYD, I have coordinated for the Asana and pranayama by the Yoga Instruction for class 1 to 12 from 7.0 to 7.45 am, Teachers have also joined the Yoga session

1.pls add yoga as course in primary schools
2.pls make as iso/any accriditation staf for place allocation for yoga in employee safety standards.

आज का मानव अपना मूल्य खो बैठा है उसका सबसे बड़ा कारण भौतिकता वादी हो जाना। प्राकृतिक मानव होना आज के समय की सबसे बड़ी मांग है जो योग के द्वारा ही संभव है योग के द्वारा ही व्यक्ति अपने आप पर नियंत्रण रख सकता है वह इस पृथ्वी पर पाए जाने वाले सभी जीवों का संरक्षण कर सकता है। प्रकृति का संरक्षण जीव जंतुओं का संरक्षण और साथ में मानव का संरक्षण तभी संभव होगा जब हम लोग मिलकर योग करेंगे और योग के सभी नियमों का पालन करेंगे।

Yoga is a best Mehod to boost our body, doing our Daily life. Yoga helps to keep us health good and feels us a like a light wait body. Yoga will helps to keep our mind in concentration. Yoga brings us a relief from tiredness. Yoga helps to keep our body fit and hurry up mood. Yoga Will provide instant energy. all types of yoga helps to over come pain from corresponding body parts.

yoga very important in today's situation and as well as personal grooming...it's really we need this ...last 2 decade we faces mental issues in society and physical issues also...yoga give us mental peace and physical nurture..

As we all know today we are observing our 8th International Yoga Day.😊
Though it's not about just one day but our motto should be to bring this ages old traditional yog practice each day in our daily lives.
I guess some of you must be already following it but those who got diverted or has not yet started, should bring their awareness back into it. Even if not for an hour but for atleast 10-20-30 min.
Be it Meditation or Pranayama or asanas or just Surya namaskars, spend some time each day.
Consider it as your small contribution to 'Fit India Movement ' as well.🏃🏻‍♀️

Sharing with you all, the golden words of my yoga teacher, she used to say- " Yoga cures what it cannot endure, and it endures what cannot be cured".🤗

So take this day as an opportunity to start your yoga journey with all afresh spirit and stamina and then it will itself take care of you and open up the path to blissfulness.
So let's rock and do Yoga for Humanity.
