Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed a webinar on implementation of Budget 2023-24 which has stood to be a youth-centric budget.
The budget focus on Apprenticeship training as it is one of the most sustainable model of skill development. The Hon’ble Prime Minister said, the new opportunities outlined in the budget will seamlessly integrate the ‘World of Education', the ‘World of Skills’ and the ‘World of Work’. And a milestone initiative towards creation of a more vibrant and participative apprenticeship training ecosystem in the country is the support that will be extended to 47 lakh youth in 3 years through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) under the pan-India National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS).

The key announcements in the Union Budget related to Apprenticeship are as follows and we seek ideas and suggestions from the public and other stakeholders on the same:

• NAPS-2 is a DBT scheme with the Government of India (GoI) support going directly to the bank account of apprentices instead of reimbursement to the establishment as in case of earlier version of NAPS. Thus, the Government will directly pay the apprentices 25% of the stipend payable up to Rs. 1,500 per apprentice per month on confirming the payment of establishment part of the stipend. The entire process of DBT will be hosted on the Apprenticeship Portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) and there will be limited manual intervention execution of the scheme.

• One of the major changes proposed in the new scheme as compared to the earlier version is the introduction of DBT. The earlier scheme of NAPS was not supported by the feature of DBT which is transparent and a quick process. It will also overcome the delay in the reimbursement process to the establishments which was the major challenge in the previous version of NAPS. DBT offers comprehensive advantages such as identifying the leakages in financial disbursement under NAPS, formalizing the offline modes of stipend payment system, moving away from long delays from claiming reimbursements and most critically promotion of apprenticeship among youth thereby creating increased demand amongst candidate groups to choose apprenticeship as a skilling vehicle.

• The scheme has suitably addressed the concerns of industry by offering flexibility in curriculum development and imparting training under Optional Trades which are industry driven and dynamic in nature whereas, Designated Trades are more structured and follow a standardized approach to train the apprentices.

Awareness campaigns: The government could launch awareness campaigns to encourage more companies to participate in the apprenticeship program. This can be done through advertisements, social media campaigns, and seminars to educate employers about the benefits of apprenticeship programs.

Financial incentives: The government could provide financial incentives to companies that participate in the apprenticeship program. This could be in the form of tax breaks or subsidies to cover the cost of training.

Skill development: The government could work with companies to identify the skills that are in demand and develop training programs to meet those needs. This will help ensure that apprentices are being trained in the skills that will be most valuable in the job market.

Partnership with educational institutions: The government could partner with educational institutions to

No doubt there is requirements of trained work force' at lower levels like ITI pass-out. Even knowing this fact we are distributing degree in engineering through all substandard institutions. These degree holders want white collar jobs which are lesser in numbers. Therefore our system producing the job seekers which are not in demand & those which are in demand are short supply like ITI holder. Apprentice who are generally ITI pass & are in demand after skilling, should be increased in each private establishments while govt. should promote in its act, ITI over engineering graduate so that private institutions focus more on skill, trade based work force' not on producing white collar jobs seeker. It is necessary that govt. should help institutions in providing info from its embassies all over world about type of job in demands so that institutions could adjust seats of different branches of engineering particularly at ITI levels.

I was under serious biological clinical trials prior to the age of 9,at the age of 8 I started consuming body building protein which resembled https://www.crazybulk.in/products/d?_pos=1&_sid=3de8997a5&_ss=r
After my body gained strength unfortunately I was mind controlled by a criminal to assault a classmate.my career ended there.

My suggestions
1.a secure process to prevent mind control by miscreants is needed.
2.once the process has been verified for it's security ,for feeding middle class family, with additional biosecurity measurers.45 to rs.100 worth 1 or 2 genuine pills can be sold,so that if risk is detected the administration can be stopped and suitable adjustment be done.

Honorable Prime Minster,

I kindly request you to consider my opinion on building sustainable cities .

For example, in Chennai I purchased a house ten years ago back and still we have not water and drainage connection. We have pay for these services to metro water and other private services. also, when lorries are used for these services, they will also contribute to pollution in a long run.

When these essential services are taken over by government and if citizens are charged a nominal fee the money will go back to the government to improve the livelihood of citizens in the cities. These funds could be used on building system on recycling and efficient garbage disposal instead of dump yards which will pollute the land and water.

Sincerely ,
Siva
