On 15th August every year, the Prime Minister speaks from the ramparts of the Red Fort and lays out the government's programmes and policies. This year however, for the first time in history of Independent India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as he mentioned in his Mann ki Baat on 26th July 2015, is directly seeking ideas and suggestions from citizens on what he should speak in this year's Independence Day Speech.

So now you have the opportunity to tell your ideas, give word to your suggestions and crystallize your vision. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will articulate them.

Sir, My views are in relation to the recent stabbing of a 19 yr old girl in central Delhi by 2 men in broad daylight that too in front of 50 people. Therefore, I would like you to take up the subject of women safety and the growing insensitivity of the society towards such incidents, and what steps could be taken, both on the government's part and the citizens' part, to reduce such incidents.

#15th August Dear N Honourable PM SIR,Kindly address on basic requirements in some specific areas e.g.(1)-(bring focus on education primarily to higher research in our respective n choice based language, not only in English.)(2)-political reforms including major changes in rule n regulations of execution of legislative assembly including parliament.(3)-take initiative for elections to be held only once or two so that will not effect government works because of various elections in states.

Honorable Mr.PM! Some points for your I-Day speech.. 1) As a symbolic acknowledgement for overwhelming response from people for "Give it up", all MPs will give up subsidies in Parliament Canteen. 2) Agrarian distress can be relieved and farmers' incomes enhanced with better irrigation and water management, more diversified agriculture, robust science based crop insurance. 'Nabard' can surely contribute for sustainable agriculture.

Hon'ble PM Sir..I thank you and your team for putting together this great idea. This is a good platform for citizens to participate in their governance but I hope that this participation to not limited to internet users and a large part of our great country where there is no internet is also heard by different means. My points 1) Integrity of India especially for NE Region where China is trying to threaten it. 2) Promote tourism by launching programs outside India (like done by Malaysia)

Sir, I would like to suggest some changes in reservation policy in government jobs. The last UPA government increased the annual income for non-creamy layer OBCs, extending the benefits of reservations to more people for their vote bank politics. The fallout of this decision is that people who are well off with enough resources are eating into chances of downtrodden to come up to higher strata of society. I request you to decrease the annual income for being counted as non-creamy layer OBC.
