On 15th August every year, the Prime Minister speaks from the ramparts of the Red Fort and lays out the government's programmes and policies. This year however, for the first time in history of Independent India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as he mentioned in his Mann ki Baat on 26th July 2015, is directly seeking ideas and suggestions from citizens on what he should speak in this year's Independence Day Speech.

So now you have the opportunity to tell your ideas, give word to your suggestions and crystallize your vision. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will articulate them.

respected sir the overall concept of digital india is having a huge response but the fundametal aspects have not been clarified. sir computer and IT subjects must be made compulsory and without any cost/fees in schools,junior colleges and senior colleges across the whole country or at least the state governments which has the same ruling party government as in the centre. for example in Maharashtra state

Dear Mr. Modi,

I write to you as an Indian settled abroad, who until couple of years back was in India.
Through years failures of political establishment as a whole has created cynics out of common people. Our social experts and media, have furthered this cause of cynicism by highlighting negatives selectively, sometimes in extreme.

There is a need for us to to have a "India Positive" movement. We need to take pride in our positives, as much if not more than we analyze our shortcomings.

ONLY TOILETS ARE CONSTRUCTED AS PER SWACHH BHARAT MISSION BUT PEOPLE ARE STILL STRUGGLING FOR WATER WHICH IS NOT PRESENT IN VILLAGE, URBAN CITIES, BUST STOPS, RAILWAY TOILETS, PUBLIC PLACES & EVEN IN RURAL INDIA & PARTS OF MAHARASHTRA THERE IS NO WATER AVAILABILITY IN RAIGAD DISTRICT, SINDHUDURG DISTRICT, RATNAGIRI, & ALL PARTS OF MUMBAI, THANE, DOMBIVLI , MUMBRA, KALWA, KALYAN, BHIWANDI, VASAI, NALASOPARA, BANDRA, NEW BOMBAY, MAHAPE, AIROLI, TURBHE, PANVEL, KHOPOLI, LONAVALA, TALEGAON, PUNE
