India’s Handloom sector is a symbol of our glorious cultural heritage and is an important source of livelihood in the country.

The first National Handloom Day was held on 7th August 2015 by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. On this day, the handloom weaving community is honoured and their contribution to the socio-economic development of the country is highlighted, and the resolve to protect our handloom heritage and to empower the handloom weavers and workers with greater opportunities is reaffirmed.

Let us, together, ensure the sustainable development of the handloom sector by supporting our handloom weavers and workers for their exquisite craftsmanship.

As we approach National Handloom Day, we invite you to come forward & support the Handloom weavers/artists by sharing your photos or videos wearing or using Handloom products. The best pictures and videos will get featured at MyGov – the world’s biggest citizen engagement platform.

कृपया प्लास्टिक पन्नियों का स्तेमाल कम से कम करें कागज से बने लिफाफों का उपयोग अधिक से अधिक करें और औरों को भी यह करने के लिए जागरूक करें।
जिससे की पर्यावरण की रक्षा होगी और प्रदुषण भी कम होगा। समस्त मानव जीवन के लिए प्रदुषण कितना हानिकारक है इससे हम सभी भलीभांति परिचित हैं।
लाकडाऊन में मेरी नौकरी छूट गई थी अभी भी नौकरी नहीं मिली तो मैंने पुराने अखबारों का उपयोग कर के लिफाफे बनाने का काम शुरू किया और दुकानदारों को इन्हें अधिक से अधिक उपयोग करने के लिए जागरूक कर रहा हूं। कमाई नहीं है पर क्या करे

Handloom sarees are very beautiful and traditional wears,any woman who wears these sarees look .

My friend as you all know in our house a mother is a sister, in the same way we should respect everyone and behave the best yes this thing is different sometimes some people are not good.
But what is our point of view should never change towards those people, a person does not become good when he helps, a person becomes good when he respects, helps stand with people.
We all have to fix our attitude towards women. Thank you.
