Boosting electric vehicle (EV) adoption requires a multifaceted approach that addresses various barriers such as cost, infrastructure, range anxiety, and consumer awareness. Here are some innovative strategies to promote EV adoption:

Financial Incentives: Offer significant financial incentives such as tax credits, rebates, or subsidies for purchasing EVs. Consider innovative schemes like income-based incentives or trade-in programs for older, polluting vehicles.

Electric vehicles are pollution free and moreover the cost of running them is much cheaper than diesel vehicles and petrol vehicles. It is cheaper than CNG also.
Government must give lot of subsidy to encourage people to buy electric vehicles. Private vehicle manufacturers must reduce the cost of on-road and Ex-showroom prices of electric vehicles and Public sector banks should give zero interest loans for buying these vehicles.

One of the primary barriers to mass EV adoption in India is the lack of a robust charging infrastructure. To encourage more people to switch to EVs, the government and private players must work collaboratively to expand the charging network across the country.
