The NITI Aayog-led Shoonya campaign, in partnership with MyGov India, is thrilled to announce the electric vehicles Townhall, an open discussion platform for citizens to share ...
We want to fully made in India electric vehicles and affordable.
when India adopt 90% EVs then will be the pollution must be controlled . But India's major problem traffic 🚦 our important time waste in meaning less traffic.
1. **Community Charging Hubs**: Establish community-run charging stations where residents can charge their electric vehicles (EVs) conveniently. Encourage participation by offering incentives for locals who volunteer to manage and maintain these hubs.
2. **Educational Campaigns**: Organize workshops and awareness programs within local communities to educate residents about the benefits of electric mobility and how they can contribute to reducing carbon emissions by transitioning to EVs.
3. **Collaborative Purchasing Programs**: Facilitate group purchases of electric vehicles to leverage bulk discounts and make EVs more accessible to community members. Negotiate with dealerships for special pricing arrangements for local residents.
4. **Infrastructure Advocacy**: Mobilize community members to advocate for the installation of EV infrastructure such as charging stations, designated parking spots, and battery swapping facilities in residential areas, workplaces, and public spaces.
According to me, these can be some beneficial steps:
1. Creating awareness for it's use. Though people are in favour of buying electric vehicles, but they are often confuse about- "How to use?"
2. Making people aware about the electric vehicles. Many people either in village or in towns are unaware of their availability. For them, exist the petroleum vehicles only.
3. Charging availability. It can boost up the rate in favour of electric vehicles.
4. Discount. People attracts discount items. It can help in achieving sustainable path.
5. Second/Third hands. Second or third hand vehicles can made available at cheaper rates so as to encourage financial backward people to take a step forward.
6. Encouraging youth to take a look on the new vehicles and also telling to further spread this news.

Improve EV access for lower- to moderate-income communities
Lower-income neighbourhoods are often disproportionately impacted by poor air quality. However, due to the high upfront costs of new vehicles (including but not limited to electric), EVs typically penetrate vehicle markets most quickly in high-income areas, which means wealthier demographics stand to benefit most from EV subsidies

Health and economic benefits. These include reduced tailpipe emissions, improved air quality and, at speeds under approximately 30 mph, noise reduction (EVs are almost as noisy as ICE vehicles at faster speeds, when tyres and friction account for the greatest share of noise). They benefit everyone,
Raise public awareness of the benefits of EVs and dispel common myths
Run a public awareness campaign to dispel the myths, particularly about the range and reliability of EVs, and to promote benefits including any financial or convenience incentives offered.
Range anxiety is a primary concern holding back EV uptake. Drivers fear that they won’t be able to reach their destination. However, there are now a range of BEVs on the market to suit most drivers’ needs. Cheaper EVs with a small battery, such as the Volkswagen e-Up, have an advertised range of around 160 miles
Encourage innovative electric car-sharing businesses. These enable more people to use EVs without owning them. Chinese cities lead in this field through the EV Card programme, a car sharing program with more than 30,000 EVs
