How important is skill development in taking India forward in the 21st century?
In future there are mainly three jobs will be prominent.First in high skill job required very good analytical ability, above average intelligent and good education.Other will more on skill or craft based like carpentry, electrician etc and third will be service like food, finance...All will be required acquitted with technology which are consider specialization in past (like ms office).Second most important to teach people how to keep themselves updated with latest technology using technology.
A central university for skill development be constituted under which all ITI should work. 2. At primary school level, there must be a subject on skill development. At present parents do the project work for their children and the child learns nothing.
BPL family in the village shall be provided with a cow with six month fodder which will cost almost same amount of money as is given in MNERGA. With on average 10 ltrs milk daily he can have income of Rs. 9000 monthly. It will also solve problem of malnutrition to large extent. Productivity of family earning member will increase as he will not be occupied for entire day. He will become entrepreneur rather than a labor which will upgrade the mental level important for improving livelihood
Skill development is an area where we need to develop most.
Currently Indian students lack on soft and hard skills as the curriculm is not designed as per the need ofhour.
Suitable changes be made in the curriculam such that skill srequired for job are taught during school and college.
Computer awareness and use should be part & parcel of school training.
Even efforts to be made to make examination and evaluation on line.
Students needs to be made self reliant and enterprising.
Farming is a skill which is filling the stomach of 125 crores Indians.why it could be more systematic like corporate business house.Every year the farmer shall register wat he is going to grow accordingly loan should be granted to him with necessary insurance cover. Procurement of seeds and fertilizers shall be through bank from listed vendors. Further an online mandi shall be developed like stock market to sell the products..price to be decided by open market. All transaction through bank
For rural farmers small scale productionunitss be helped by the guv.to produce vslue added products from their produce. An agency of guv.may visit villages assess the possibility of unit and help finsncially and technically to raise the unit and the produce may be bought by the guv.for pds.
Corporates can also help. An automobolie company can take weilding or repair class. A paint company a painting class or sponsor by material. Similarly construction.so every company in the segment can promote there own services, generate educated labour of these product and if possible have locally available repair force for the consumers. A data like this would help at various levels while giving benefits to all parties involved.
There should be a central labour data. With names address, contact no. Profession and ur of experience. Certification of authencity by the local police. This I m talking for house maids, plumbers, electricians, repair mechanics. Oncecwe have this day a available locally. Even an uneducated but experienced and skilled person can become a teacher in helping The younger lot in learning this skill. These classes can be organised in the open or schools vacant in second half.
skill is what, generating facility or teaches how to read or how to analyze or how to play games, or how to practice good
once this trend starts right talent will be found, developed and then only skilled youth will be available for all challenges which create problems ,once problems are solved on basis of skill the development will be enormous in all the fields and that will india future in 21st century, and this all needs to be started from schools itself
