Allahabad city has been shortlisted by Ministry of Urban Development as one among the potential 98 smart cities under the Smart City Mission. At present, Allahabad Nagar Nigam is in the process of revising the Smart city proposal for second round participation. In this regard, Citizens of Allahabad are requested to participate actively in all Citizen Engagement process and enable our city to successfully accomplish the vision of the Smart City Mission.

In Round-1; Citizens of Allahabad chose Retrofitting option for 1160 acres as Area Based Development which includes areas such as Residential colonies of Mumfordganj, Commercial area of Katra, portion of Allahabad University and rejuvenation of Chandrashekar Azad Park and Hathi Park.

Allahabad Nagar Nigam requests all its citizens to participate in the Review process; wherein they can share their suggestions to help ANN to reformulate and strengthen the Smart City Proposal for the Round-2 challenge.

We request you to post your valuable suggestions on or before 25/05/2016.

At least take a round to inspect the contracts being executed with the consent of your office - everyone in the town has to get things done smartly - of course at the same time earning something out of it

Smart City Allahabad is going ahead to provide the smart energy services using solid waste management...as news reflects in hindustan paper in allahabad..

Cleanliness should be the first priority. Drainage system need to be improved. Develop Allahabad but not on the cost of environment and do some road construction over the city

Encroachment free roads of the city will be a smarter city smooth traffic of the smart city allahabad. So will need citizens support to municipal encroachment drive in Allahabad.

If I were to suggest, then the following points should be included to make allahabad a smart city: 1- There should cat's eyes on all roads of the city 2- The wires that hang around should be underground 3- Allahabad's religiousness should not be spoiled in an attempt of making it a smart city 4-Historical monuments should be well preserved

इलाहाबाद शहर को ग्रीन सिटी बनाना होगा , यहाँ के लोगों को कम से कम एक पेड़ जरुर लगायें इसके लिए लोगो को जागरूक करना होगा

There should be improvement in basic amenities in industrial areas, development of multi-specialty hospitals and better use of CCTV cameras for vigilance.

Which area, under Smart City Proposal (SCP), should be chosen for development in Allahabad which must be reflects as a show case of Allahabad.
