Allahabad city has been shortlisted by Ministry of Urban Development as one among the potential 98 smart cities under the Smart City Mission. At present, Allahabad Nagar Nigam is in the process of revising the Smart city proposal for second round participation. In this regard, Citizens of Allahabad are requested to participate actively in all Citizen Engagement process and enable our city to successfully accomplish the vision of the Smart City Mission.

In Round-1; Citizens of Allahabad chose Retrofitting option for 1160 acres as Area Based Development which includes areas such as Residential colonies of Mumfordganj, Commercial area of Katra, portion of Allahabad University and rejuvenation of Chandrashekar Azad Park and Hathi Park.

Allahabad Nagar Nigam requests all its citizens to participate in the Review process; wherein they can share their suggestions to help ANN to reformulate and strengthen the Smart City Proposal for the Round-2 challenge.

We request you to post your valuable suggestions on or before 25/05/2016.

It can be clean city to become a smart city my suggestion is that on each road there should be a dustbin side by a road .whashroom should be maked on side of each and every road. Each road should be clean and a colony also ne clean. It can be a wifi city.

सारे भारत को, ओर हमारे Allahabad को स्मार्ट सिटी बनाने के लिए जो सबसे ज़रूरी पहल है, वो है सबसे पहले निचली बस्तियों को जहां गालियां होती हैं, सकरे रास्ते होते हैं, उनमे भरपूर सुधार/सुविधा ईमानदारी से देना। क्यूंकि जिसे हम पाश कॉलोनी कहते हैं वहाँ रहने वाले खुद इतने रसुखदार ओर अपप्रोच वाले होते हैं की अपने सारे काम फोन पर ही करा लेते हैं ओर उनके काम आसानी से हो जाते हैं, चाहे जैसा भी काम क्यूँ न हो। परेशानी तो हम जैसे गरीब लोगों के साथ होती है।

Traffic rule is also applicable to the rider of the bicycle because they ignore the traffic rule on the road of Allahabad and they are the people who also becomes the rider of motorcycle in future so that if they mistake today then they might be mistake in future and they were violate the traffic rule also.

Allahabad is also known as the judicial capital, we also have Sangam which is famous for KumbhMela. In my opinion in development phase more emphasis should be on Road and electricity and then on tourist places, because tourism attracts peoples to visit some particular place and also a source of revenue,

There should be improvement in basic amenities in industrial areas, development of multi-specialty hospitals and better use of CCTV cameras for vigilance.
