Only smart people can have smart city. Make the people of Amritsar city well informed about each and every facility provided by Govt. There is RTS (Right to Service Act) implemented in Punjab but how many people are aware about their rights and duties. They must be told about their rights by information flashing boards placed on the roadsides and if somebody is not abiding by the RTS Act then where to complaint about that. Provide a 3 digit toll free number for complaints. continue...
A city is not smart until it manages its waste well. Waste management process should be decentralised and locality based, quick and real time. It is surprising to note that 70% of waste is organic in nature & can be reprocessed before it becomes waste or, thereafter, can be recycled in a sustainable manner. We have invented a Green Waste Reprocessor machine which re‐process all green reject and converts it into valuable by‐products. More details can be found on www.cleanindiatech.com #SmartCity
To make Amritsar, Smart City. Amritsar needs to be developed as Information Technology Hub. Amritsar Is North India's Best Ideal Location to be Developed as IT Hub. 300-500 Acres of land area should be reserved on Manawala or In between Airport-Ajnala Side for Establishing IT Hub. Amritsar deserves to be IT Hub. Amritsar have International Airport, Intl. Cross Border Trade Connectivity. Import/Export Hub. Mega Tourist Destination. To make the Amritsar city the smart city, the basic amenities should reach to every citizen of the city. The stress on the roads of the city should be decreased and more effort should be put on the use of public transport. The permit should be given to auto rickshaw so that the traffic chaos can be decreased. the roads should be widened according to the population. the roads inside should be made of concrete and there should be no potholes. i hope you will look forward toward the suggestion.
