(cont.) We can actually cover entire Gandhinagar for Wi-fi. Free Wi-fi should be availed to Gandhinagar netizen through some Authentication Mechanism (Aadhar Card tagging/Licence Tagging) and shall only be availed to its Citizen to reduce Cyber Crime risk. Monthly audits should be done to measure security of these wi-fi networks.
7) Encouragement for Paddle Driving. Govt. shall provide Cycles for InterCity commute purposes. There shall be fixed Govt. Parking (at various places) where one can

(cont.) 5) ILLEGAL Construction. Gandhinagar was beautifully planned. There are only two cities (as I know) which were planned in a compartmentalized way one is Chandhigarh and second our Gandhinagar. One can see illegal construction in many sectors especially Sector 24, Sector 13, Sector 6-7 and few others. This not only create inconvenience for other people but also looks ugly. So PLEASE take strict action for this illegal construction.
6) Free and Protected Wi-fi Zone in Parks/Gardens

(cont.) 4) Scope of Improvement in Health Sector. There should be at least 2 doctors for Emergency Room all time available in Gandhinagar Civil Hospital. I have evidence that there was a big line of patients near emergency room and no doctor was available to handle patient at that time (approx 45 mins). INCREASE PARTNERSHIP OF GOVT WITH PRIVATE HOSPITALS WITH GOOD RATES SO U CAN DECREASE LOAD & LONG WAITING FOR PATIENTS (Suggested by Viral Luhar) would be helpful.

(cont.) 3) Fully Functional Railway Station. It has been a long time that Gandhinagar Railway station has been developed but hardly 2-3 trains runs. Adding railway routes and linking trains with Gandhinagar Railway station would be of great help (A must as it can be thought as a pillar for a Smart City). Ideally, Railway tickets should be booked from railway station only (Sector 14 Railway Station). But, people from Railway station are forced to book tickets only from Old Sachivalay Building.

(cont.) I mean really? Can't that land be used to plant more trees? Or for beautiful landscape garden (probably with some theme). This will surely improve quality of living for Gandhinagar Citizens and will serve as an attraction for other people living in different cities.
2) Scope of improvement for Internal Transport. Adding more routes for Intercity Buses and tracking of Buses through GPS. This will serve citizens to track the bus and can know how much time will it take to arrive.

First of all I would like to congratulate the Team Behind this initiative. I can see posters hanging every where in the city asking about providing suggestions (didn't knew the website so googled the web and I came here) for making Gandhinagar a Smart City.

What is the definition of smart city as per government policy?

Before giving lable of smart city to gandhinagar please concentrate on basic requirement for human beings and environment

1. Please arrange such type of portable water supply system that we have not require RO plant at our home
2. Please arrange for best medical facility and system because we have to wait for 1 to 3 hours for paper work and other formalities
3. Please arrange best drainage system, solid waste management and rain water harwesting system

There should be perfect and strict traffic system so accident ratio would be reduce.
