I think to make Lucknow a smart city the steps which should be taken are:
- the public transport system should be redesigned.
-public toilets should be built in close vicinity to monuments and markets.
-proper garbage collection and centralized garbage disposal is required to avoid accumulation of garbage heaps on roads and near monuments.
-the penalty for breaking traffic rules should be so severe that people think twice before breaking them.
-potholes on roads should be repaired quickly.

1. First of all,State Police should be smart. for this the initial recruitment process should be best.
2. Before making 4 lane, 6 lane just develop small streets, small roads, street lights etc., for this make a system or make a team that analyse and inspect the work of "सभासद/पार्षद्" of different locations.
3. Established a recycling firms and power plants(runs from solid waste), it helps to "Swach Bharat Abhiyan".

to make the city smart an initiative should be taken to remove clusters of electric wires seen on the poles.they should be solved and should be in sophisticated manner with a change in their color appearance.
apart from this, the electronic swing found in hilly areas can also be introduced to make gyaneshwar mishr park , a place of attraction and more entertainment.
