Lucknow is the capital city of the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. A major metropolitan city of India. It is the second largest city in north and central India after Delhi. Lucknow has always been known as a multicultural city that flourished as a North Indian cultural and artistic hub and seat of Nawab power in the 18th and 19th centuries. It continues to be an important centre of government, education, commerce, aerospace, finance, pharmaceuticals, technology, design, culture, tourism, music and poetry.

Lucknow Municipal Corporation is preparing the Smart City Proposal with an intent to plan and provide smart solutions to the city and welcomes the citizens of Lucknow to post their views, opinions, thoughts and plans on smart solutions for their needs related to water supply, sanitation, solid waste management, storm water drainage, waste water management, affordable housing, energy efficiency, use of renewable and solar energy, non-motorized transport, underground electric cabling, open space development, safety, healthcare, education, culture and heritage, public transport, key infrastructure such as pedestrian walkways, cycle tracks, roads, underpasses, Fly overs, services such as e-governance tools etc.

Inputs from citizens is crucial for framing a vision for Lucknow and to get selected as one among the top 20 cities in the first year, in the Smart City Challenge round.

I would like to pay attention towards the society first. We need to improvise the traffic management which should be our first priority.Secondly, drain-edge system should be improvised. Water harvesting, encroachment, safety are the main concern.

"LUCKNOW" should be because of capital of UP
1- Waste control and Management should be best.it will control disease,help to be a good Environment and higine.
2- Plantation and solar energy system should be set up in city. for clean and green atmosphere.
3- Traffic and parking system should be manage well.
4- Awareness should be spread out in people and strictly followed.
5- Water management should be fine.
6- Toilets,Public spots,tourism spot should be clean.
7- Security is to be best....

to remove corruption full detail of money spend on every government construction work or any other project should be publised on websites.

Traffic management is necessary
Waste should be disposed off properly.
More precautions and steps shall be taken for the safety of girls as well as youngsters.
Maintenance of roads is also important.

Working traffic lights on roads.
Employment to unemployed people.

* Basic infrastructure of the city needs to be improved first like drainage, roads etc.
* No new construction should be approved till it has taken NOC from Municipality & concerned Govt. department.
* More & more flyovers are required to met out with the problem of traffic jam.
* Law offenders should be penalised strictly.

6.More public toilets and hospitals.
7.Wi-Fi availability in main markets.

Development of baby care centers for working population near offices
Parks should be well maintained.
Street lights should be proper and must use LED Bulbs
Proper connectivity with bus and metro trains
A CCTV surveillance at major junctions of roads
Green belts should be developed
Prepaid meters for electricity consumption should be established to save power

Removal of encroachment and development of slum areas

All schools and colleges should be with boundries
