Namchi has been selected among the 100 shortlisted cities to participate in the Smart City Challenge initiated by Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India. The UD&HD department, Government of Sikkim invites all the citizensand who all are interested in its development to share their ideas. Please join us in this journey to make Namchi a smart city by sharing you creative and valuable suggestions, ideas, solutions on various aspects for the development of Namchi. Sports and recreation related suggestions:
1) Develop sports complexes at various locations within city for jogging, playing table tennis, lawn tennis, basketball, volleyball, swimming etc. at minimal membership costs

There should be a city cultural heritage center (museum) for our city's pride. And it should be made available to visit to all public.

I think that there is no vetenary hospital in our city.it should be built as soon as possible for the welfare of animals and birds.

before doing anythings towards varanasi firstly we have to change the nature and mentality of the people...there should be fine on pike of paan and other garbage related things thrown here and there..there should be proper garbage facility system available in the environment for the people to throw only in that....for the torist attraction
