Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) is making all efforts to make citizens comfortable by giving them all infrastructure available to them. The Achievements of NMMC as known to citizens are mentioned below:

• High per capita income and cosmopolitan population
• Higher Education Institutes- Engineering, Management and Medical
• Major industrial area across Thane Belapur Road
• Biggest trading APMC
• Part of Proposed Knowledge Corridor
• Two big Infotech parks and presence of major players in these parks and outside
• Planned Urban Development
• Picturesque coastal area and very green Parsik hill
• Local dialling with the commercial capital

The objective of the consultations with the Citizens of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation is to motivate the people to get involved in the process of development of city into SMART CITY taking advantage of above schemes & to know the views and concerns of the stakeholders about the city. Their views and suggestions will have major contribution in formulating the vision for the city. This is an effort to connect YOU as a citizen to your local Government.

Your responses shall help us incorporate your inputs and emerge as a winner in the list of 10 cities that will undertake the smart city journey from Government of Maharashtra. Ideas are sought related to smart governance, smart information, smart citizens, smart mobility, smart energy etc. which are ecologically friendly, technologically integrated and meticulously planned with a particular reliance on the use of information technology to improve efficiency.

Parsik hill shall be refilled with city debris, excavated soil & Clay. Plant trees on refilled part. city debris problem get solve which help to kept city clean and Restoration of Parsik hill will be looks again green & environment friendly.

A city must be clean more than anything else! Make strict rules against spitting in public places and throwing waste on roads instead of garbage bins.

- People safety and security specially to woman should be given high priority.

- The touch screen information boards should be installed
at various locations in the city.

- It will help the tourists/ visitors to guide and locate themselves in the city.

I have a great idea for cleanliness.
There must be working committee.
Like give rights to nmmc workers and police men some rights to fine a person if he spits or throws garbage on road or footpaths.

Navi Mumbai along with neighboring smart cities like Mumbai and Thane can never be really smart if the connectivity between them is pathetic. Thane-Belapur road the most important and only road connecting Thane and Vashi is in 18 century. It takes 60 minutes to drive 10 km via Digha gaon and Kalwa Bridge. IN 24 hours at least 100,000 vehicles passes on it, still govt has been lethargic to improve it till today. Everyday fuel wastage is equal to building a bridge on Thane creek.

Is Vashi Plaza going to be face of Smart Navi Mumbai ? Right on the entrance of Vashi node just opposite most modern Exhibition Centre is this building marred by haphazardly fixed huge unauthorised hoardings and neon signs .
Most surprising part is that NMMC is hell bent on supporting the hoarding agencies despite the society decision to get rid of all hoardings from Vashi Plaza premises and increasing incidences of concrete Slab collapses taking place at regular intervals .

नमुमंपा मुख्यालय परिसर अतिशय देखणा असा आहे.त्यात आपण भर म्हणुन बोटीग,प्रवेशद्वार असे विविध कल्पकतेने शोभिवत मुख्यालय बनवावे.

More and more trees should be grown, public parks should be clean and well equipped with basic facilities like dustbins, benches, shades, and other entertainment instruments for the kids and old people.
