All the traffic signals at major intersections should be coordinated with the traffic volume during off-peak hours with manual over-ride. this will save precious fuel and time.
For Navi Mumbai following work should be carried out
1.Multi facility government hospital with sufficient beds on 24/7 basis to be introduce.
2.Active surveillance, monitor and alerts at every main junction
3.Solar energy can be utilized for alternate power source.
4.Should ban on spitting and smoking in public places
5.Providing increased number of public toilets with proper maintenance
Public parks should maintain cleanliness,sitting arrangement for aged visitors should be there,games and rides for kids should be made available and should be maintained well.
Need to remove slums developed & devloping in NMMC areas like kharlands,forestlands,MIDC lands,hills etc.
transporation should be improved, centralized traffic control system should be implemented
There is should be social audit portal for the city for constant feedback of what is going wrong, now days photo can be taken with GPS co-ordinates, people should be able to take photo of whats going wrong, wrong parking , muck on street, encroachment etc, without realtime information it will be difficult to implement policies
Art and music should be encouraged, school should make music as one of the compulsory subject for students.
