New Town, Kolkata has been declared as a potential Smart City under the Smart Cities Mission, Government of India. To participate in Round-2 of the challenge of the smart city ...
New Town is aiming to be a smart city I hope it becomes one after such a hulla baloo.
1.Garbage scattered around the city should cleaned and disposed off properly.
2. Stray animals should be taken care off
3. Heavy fine to people littering around the city
4 Wireless sensor systems and cameras need to be install at various locations of city.
5 Fire brigade stations and high frequency machinery to be used for cleaning of city.
1. Should have a Centralized (app based) system for complaints related to electricity/ water supply / storm water drainage and related infrastructure services. The system should be a two way, providing response and consumer feedback mechanism.
2. The solid waste collection and disposal need to carried out in a scientific and sustained manner which is not being done at present. Traffic police is doing excellent job by imposing fines on traffic violations, but also need to generate awareness.
Shudu bokle hobe kaaj kore dekhate hobe. Agey kaj hok tarpor dekhbo.
