The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

My suggestion for Smart City Pasighat 1.Proper way of cleanliness works and cleaning. 2.Proper drainage and road inside the city 3.To improve electrical supply. 4.Quality of education by drainage and creating new project or extra curriculum among students.

First and privilege in that there is to be maintained proper electricity and water sanitation in pasighat township as well as neighbors village.cleanliness of hospital and market should be produce in vest area .adjoining road to be connected for sub road in the area of pasighat. therefore, the town should be well equality ...

Better public transport system and encourage people to use. Discourage encroachment put heavy penalties Encourage paperless work, motivate government employees for time bound services and understand their responsibility.

For a smart makeup of the city its highly essential to have a feeling of civic sense among people if Pasighat. Secondly the people have to understand how it like to be living in an standardized area it lies in the citizens of Pasighat how to use the provided resources and bring out the best in it.

There should be street light and constructed road, public toilet should be good maintained free hi-fi by government should be given good shopping malls and multiplexes.

1.Separate administrative authority exclusive for Smart city to control law and orders situation and to control govt. land encroachment. 2.Proper Drainage system in existing Pasighat markets and its surroundings to keep cleanness (Swatch Bharat) and to dengue and plague like diseases free city. 3.Educate civic sense to the people of Pasighat in particular & East Siang in general.

Like other Smart cities I would also like to see my dream Smart City Pasighat,with full of new technology,24 hrs electricity,well communication and transport,smart offices,school,collages and smart citizens.citizens. Peace full and hygiene environmental.

1) Smart school should be built where tablets is used instead of books to reduce deforestation. 2) Technological center should be built. 3)Park should be constructed. 4)Dam should be constructed for the availability of electricity.
