The Deptt of Atomic Energy(DAE) has developed the sea water desalination plants and water purifying technologies commercially and plants are in operation.The Seawater desalination is increasingly becoming a vital option for alleviating severe water shortage around the world and especially in developing countries.Considering > 97% Salty, 2% fresh water locked in snow,only 1% fresh water available for humans in rivers,lakes and streams.Large desalination plants across the coastal areas are needed.

There  is a possibily to divert trafic consuction to Diu bus station circle by creating overhead circle & fly over road along coaste ledading to gandhipara joinning to MDR and further extended to it upto chakratirth beach, gangeshwar road. This may definatly tourist friendly and easy convenience for public under tranportation & mobility for broad vision of makeing DIU a SMART CITY.

Really appreciation for initiating for smart city projects but implemention of work is very slow...which show like basic humality nature saying "Government kaam hai aise hi hota hai".
I hope that BJP government will prove that government is better administrative in coming years, so please do effective implements by proper plan about completion of work on time so that public will get relief and more facilities.

diu city has enough potential for development but much will depend on the tourist aspect of the area water sports facilities need to be developed along with local market places and cleanliness of beaches should be top priorities
