Shivamogga City Corporation, Shivamogga in Karnataka State has been selected by the Ministry of Urban Development as one of the 100 smart cities to participate in the Smart City ...
Services provided by the administration still need attention because some people are still unaware about them....!!!
People don't care about the play area for children, parking vehicles anywhere they like. Proper parking system should be marked. Just because of improper parking others face difficulties......!!!
Developing shivamogga as a smart city is a great idea ,but the money sanctioned for this project by the government must be used properly and the use of the sanctioned money should be known to all the citizens so as to avoid misuse of the money and successfully reaching the goal.
The meaning of any smart city is to bring up modern ideas and techniques into the livelihood of people without hindering the traditional ideals. In order to achieve so we need to think of ideas that can make the life of people better in any way possible.
Some of my ideas would be to bring up Eco-friendly technologies, such as public bicycle services and cleanliness comes above all. #Shivamogga #SmartCity
Roads and infrastructure needs attention......!!!
Problems that need to be solved to make our shivamogga city smart are as follows,
1. 24hr power supply.
2. IT Companies.
3. Wifi facility.
4. Traffic control.
5. More number of national highways.
6. E-based education facilities in schools and colleges.
7. Women life empowerment should be enriched.
Electricity Board and water department need to standardize their quality of service to avoid pollution.
I feel great to know that shivamogga is going to be the smart city in coming years. For the development of this smart city I feel that cleanliness, employment opportunities and educational facilities are more important areas that is needed to be taken into consideration.
2.Road recovery : In the city damaged roads are under reconstruction but after repairing it again the roads are damaged because of repairing process of drainage system.so it is important to plan properly before repairing the roads.
I am glad to hear that shivamogga is going to be a smart city
I would like to share these following points
1.Traffic control: This is a very important fact that has to be considered.There are several places where traffic signals are not working properly.This problem should be considered seriously because it is a burden to the traffic police to handle the traffic.
