Start Date :

The Government of lndia has launched an ambitious "Smart Cities Mission" to promote cities that provide core infrastructure and a good quality of life to its citizens, a clean and ...
congrats to Hubli-Dharwad people to get smart city programme. Following steps we should have taken. 1) Underground electricity throughout twincity.2)streets should clean every halfanhour or one hour regularly.3)every house top solarenergy must attach, electricity scarcity will be solved.4)widened roads avoid accidents 5)clean should be done infront of every house at their own interest.we should educate every person to clean thier own house and road.
The followings may be few suggestive measures for a smart and clean Warangal: 1. Street washing before sweeping; 2. Use Bio-disposers to dispose kitchen / bio-degradable waste directly to sewer network. 3. Areas without sewer network may be provided with Bio-digesters for tackling bio-degradable waste. 4. Manage all type of Solid Waste separately without co-mingling for efficient reuse / recycling. & 5. Prefer to provide decentralised sanitation facilities, community managed & self sustainable.
To control the traffic of the city using Intelligent Transportation System is very effective solution on traffic.other than this many more applications we can get using ITS .Like Public transport System monitoring,Signal operations, Electronic Toll Collection, Speed Detection, Accident Control, etc.Without using ITS city never become smart so ITS is mandatory.
First try to solve these small problems, then we can think about the smart city mission.
Like filling the damaged road with sand and stones, instead of this they can construct a new road and make the roads smooth. there r no street lights in several areas. There r no dustbins provided in certain areas. and the most important thing is lack of traffic control. from kazipet to hanamkonda chowrastha I can travel in 15minutes, but from hanamkonda chowrastha to amrutha theatre it takes 10minutes to travel. And when any politicians arrives here by roadways the traffic here is undescribed.
Its good to hear that our city has been selected as the SMART CITY, but forget it, before smart the city has to be clean with a good traffic control. many of the main areas in kazipet, hanamkonda and warangal does not possess good roads. though the roads are connected to the national highway I cant tell you how damaged these roads are, only when there are any festivals like ganesh nimarjan then the govt wakes up and does the alternate changes.
Traffic and Parking issues - I feel atleast 50% problem will be solved if govt. looks into future. Like, promoting use of single wheel electric bike and 2 wheeler car electric. . . Eg of 2 wheel car from one of the manufacture. If we invite such companies to make in India, then it will be cost effective.

No traffic congestion,no traffic signals,no traffic police,no traffic heavy expenditure.
Only joy!
I propose suitable ROTARIES at places
1.Kazipet
2.KUC X ROADS
3.PETROL BUNK
4.ANDHRA BANK
5.MULUGU ROAD
6.DESAIPET
7.WARANGAL POST OFFICE.
warangal being a city of INDIAN heritage also need to be developed in each and every aspect.education, modern techniques in agriculture ,improvised and transperent administration.WARANGAL is now developing city which was recently appeared in selected list of smart cities in INDIA.to develop the city of warangal we need help of government and people as well there should be proper cooperation between people and rulers.warangal need to have a agricultural and scientific research institutes.
the biggest problem with increasing urban india is disposal of industrial waste and household waste direct to the river. This issue needs to be addressed very seriously. Govt may charge tax but no such waste should be made part of river. Secondly, there should be huge movement for rain water harvesting and it should start from govt offices, celebrities, schools, colleges, universitities, railways, PSUs, big industrial houses.
