With challenges of rapid urbanisation ahead and the promise to conserve the green heritage of “City Beautiful”, Chandigarh Administration is always committed to create a clean and healthy environment for its resident, commuters & tourists. Eco-friendly & sustainable technologies will be focus of city under “Smart City Mission”.

As per the “Rank of Cities on Sanitation 2009-2010” Report (issued by Ministry of Urban Development, GoI) Chandigarh emerged as the cleanest city in India, with a rating of 73.48 points followed by Mysore in the second place with 70.65 points. However the Administration still strives for more better & effective solutions on sanitation and cleanliness which should come directly from its residents. Dear sir,
Why people needs to pay in the public toilets? Government should make free toilets for all and every place including sulabh shochalyas (all toilets).

Government should pay the money or commepceantory money to those toilets owners/ organisations. Government needs to pay the amount from swach Bharat tax.

If it will applicable, comman men will not go for toilets/ loo. We can clean our country more effectively.

#Chandigarh #MyGov #Surajya #SwachhBharat #Cleanliness #Gilard There is a greater need for sensitization amongst the general public. Schools & parents have a big role to play now, as the things children learn in a young age, tends to stay with them for a lifetime. Also, the corporations can step in to help with increasing sensitivity among their own employees as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility. Here's a link as an example of the good work beiong done by Gilard Electronics.
