Child Rights and You CRY

The government must focus on facilitating quality education rather than creating ‘employable’ children. It is impractical for a child to make choose a vocation at an early age when the child is still in formative stage of decision making. There exists a threat that the option to choose a vocation will not be made available to certain students solely because they belong to certain groups (SC, ST, and Gender). This can lead to occupation being affixed with caste even at school level.
