The conch shell is a revered and integral symbol of Hinduism which represents the sound of dharma. The cheetahs have been reintroduced in India for the betterment of our environment and ecosystem. Similarly, a conch shell, it is believed, purifies all the surroundings.
Therefore, the cheetahs should be named after the famous conch shells of the Pandavas and other Mahabharata characters which are mentioned in the holy Bhagavad Gita itself.
