Ministry of Electronics and IT has drafted a Data Centre policy to benefit the Data Centre park developers/Data Centre operators as well as the allied ecosystem of the Data Centre sector. The policy envisages making India a Global Data Centre hub, promote investment in the sector, propel digital economy growth, enable provisioning of trusted hosting infrastructure to fulfill the growing demand of the country and facilitate state of the art service delivery to citizens. This document lays out a policy framework including various structural / regulatory interventions, investment promotion in the sector, possible Incentivization mechanisms along with the institutional mechanism required for the governance. The policy framework also seeks to strengthen the recently announced “AatmaNirbhar Bharat” initiative by identifying possible opportunities of manufacturing of Data Centre equipment (IT as well as non-IT) in the country. It also identifies possible areas of participation by MSMEs and Start-ups.

The policy intends to ensure sustainable and trusted Data Centre capacity within the country. This policy framework shall be followed by a detailed scheme with implementation guideline document providing the particulars of various fiscal and non-fiscal incentives to be provided to the sector by the Central and State Government.

For the same, Ministry of Electronics and IT invites citizen suggestions on the Draft Data Center Policy 2020.
Refer to the Policy document here : Draft Data Center Policy 2020

Please send in your suggestions by 30th November 2020.

We can improve National Economy by permitting vehicles to run fitted with HHO kits that produce hydrogen gas from water by electrolysis. The current for the same will be supplied by the engine dynamo. The cost per vehicle will be about Rs.1500 to 3000. It will be pollution-free and reduce fuel consumption by up to 35%. Import of fuel will be reduced if used for power generation, Railways and desalination plants.

Honorable Sir.
As Envisaged in Latest Agri/; Bills. 2020. Farmers can be Empower, through Floating Farmer Specific LLP Companies. Care should be undertaken, While aligning the purpose of the Bill, The Criteria should be that there will be no interference from politicians or Middle men’s. Hence the company must have only farmers & cultivators as promoters of the company. The Government recognized NGO’S, Can come to the rescue of formers, while they are being exploited.

Honourable PM, Subsidies are being provided to the economically downtrodden people. Indeed, this is a noble job. But, a poor person has become sound economically on his/her own effort, then Govt. subsidies need to be discontinued, otherwise he will become idle and there will be misuse of Govt. fund. This is required to be monitored transparently, otherwise our country will not become strong economically. This is my suggestion. With kindest regards, Sankar Saha, Baruipur, Kolkata.

Since India is mostly a hot place we should make sure that any data center that is built in India is energy efficient via renewable energy. Thus, bringing down the costs of maintaining one and allowing the industry to thrive. We should not allow them to use up our traditional power resources. This way we encourage businesses that are building data centers to also help in renewable energy generation. https://e360.yale.edu/features/energy-hogs-can-huge-data-centers-be-made-more-efficient.

good to see banks were taking aggressive on emi recovery this year. as many other issues happening. even ecs were re submitted and charges applied on the same. still no relief for salaried class and tds payees. infact loans issued only based on itr and this year issues were common. public have tendency to save for future. and already exhausted for maintaining own family and helping others. and still starimg to future - what else can we do?
