Seats to the normal passengers are not available even in Tatkal, but Agents are able to get the reservations. There may be some quota system misutilised by the agents, which the normal passengers may not be aware off. Also this may be reason for poor occupancy level for railways.

There seems to be some serious flaw in ticketing system. Railway is working on 60% occupancy level, and passengers are not getting reservations in the trains. When we check on the portal for availability, it shows no seats available, but when we board the train, ample seats are available with TTE running in the train. Specially in First Class AC we often found these issues. Railway must check their internal ticketing system to check this.

Many small stations don't have facility of reservation/Tatkal and people living nearby have to come relative larger stations. Provide infrastructural support to those small stations.(E.g. Talbehat TBT)
